62 French Bulldog French Bulldog The French Bulldog is a small breed of domestic dog. "Frenchies" were the result in the 1800s of a cross between bulldog ancestors imported from England and local ratters in Paris.

I love French Bulldogs so much! They are my favorite breed! I want one so much because they're so cute, and they love kids.

Nastiest dogs and not suitable around kids these dogs should be banned

64 Black Russian Terrier Black Russian Terrier The Black Russian Terrier, abbreviated as BRT, also known as the Tchiorny Terrier is a breed of dog created in USSR in Red Star Kennel during the late 1940s and the early 1950s for use as military/working dogs.

I have a Russian Black; she's the perfect dog! Nine months old but still enormous. She'll spend half her time playing either with you or the other pets, as well as being as gentle as she can; and half of the time she'll rest peacefully and guard the house or rest with you. The other advantage is that they seldom drool and shed fur, unlike similar dogs such as the Newfoundland.

Russian Blacks are incredibly underrated. Probably because they're rare, but I would definitely recommend the Russian Black to someone who wants a large and playful dog who sticks by you 24/7, and copes well with other dogs and children. And if you have cats, get a young puppy who shall adapt well to them like my one did. - PositronWildhawk

We have one of these right now. Cute dog, and we trained him to do many things quickly. - Turkeyasylum

I currently have one of these. They are so smart but she does whine a lot until she gets what she wants! Spoiled I guess :) She is so funny because whenever someone comes over or we have just gotten home she has got to smell your breath! Just making sure she didn't miss out on anything good to eat I guess! She is one of the three dogs we have so she doesn't want to miss out on her fair share! Ours not only points but retreives as well! Loves to go out pheasant hunting! And she thinks shes a lap dog too! Loves to climb up on my sons lap and put her head on his shoulder and cuddle for hours! Great loving family dog! - Wendyt95

72 Bearded Collie Bearded Collie The Bearded Collie, or Beardie, is a herding breed of dog once used primarily by Scottish shepherds, but now mostly a popular family companion.

Yes bearded collies are VERY great dogs! I have one of these dogs, and she is amazing. (I am a dog lover) She is SO smart, (she is crossed with border collie) and why is it number 47? Yeah these dogs may be rare but that's what make them special. They are a great herding breed. I LOVE all dog breeds. They remind you of The shaggy dog when you go past one of these dogs.

73 Rhodesian Ridgeback Rhodesian Ridgeback The Rhodesian ridgeback is a dog breed developed in Rhodesia. Its European forebears can be traced to the early pioneers of the Cape Colony of southern Africa, who crossed their dogs with the semi-domesticated, ridged hunting dogs of the Khoikhoi.

Ridge backs are great if you like a mellow dog. I have one, and she is VERY sweet. They are smart dogs, and listen to commands well. Not many people know about ridge backs, but if they did, I'm sure ridgebacks would be in the top ten. Ridge backs get along with other dogs well, and my dog does not mind not being alpha dog. Ridgebacks are very loyal and they make great guard dogs, yet they that they shouldn't bark at every little noise. Like I said before they are docile and sweet, so I reccomend ridgebacks.

I had a Rhodesian Ridgeback, although he had fear aggression, he was very sweet. Again, he was diagnosed with fear aggression, so I don't know how normal ridge backs would interact with other humans/dogs

Beautiful dogs that where bred in Zimbabwe to hunt the fierce king of the jungle... LIONS. You will fall in love with these dogs! They follow you around and are a little protective of owners and house.

RIP Stubby
