Best Fairy Tales of All Time

The Top Ten

Beauty and the Beast

But you CAN judge a person by its looks, that what NATURE intended.

This should be number 6 on my list because it's a story about redemption and looking past someone's ugly features and focusing on their inner beauty.

This was my probably my favourite since I was a kid.
It is a truly beautiful story.

A really beautiful story. This one should be higher than Cinderella!

Rapunzel

A classic fairy tale about a girl locked in a tower, with only her extremely long hair acting as a rope ladder.

It's 1,000,000 times better than The Three Little Craps!

Rapunzel is the best fairy tale.

Cinderella

The #1 most iconic and famous fairy tale in the world. The story traces back to diverse ancient civilizations such as Greece, China, Italy, and France. Its themes of rags to riches, true love, and following dreams are timeless.

Favorite classic of all fairy tales. The underdog becomes the top dog. Many versions of this tale in different cultures too. The glass slipper, riding in a pumpkin, fairy godmother. All fantastic.

Shows that money rules all and life is about being at the top. Wrong values to teach kids in my opinion.

Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp

I acted this story, I was Jasmine. I learned to appreciate what a fun story this is, some people criticize it, and I don’t know why! it teaches you to be yourself in a fun and cool way. GO ALADDIN

The story is enchanting.
My favourite

The Little Mermaid

A classic fairy tale about a mermaid who trades her voice for legs so she can marry a human prince

A sad story that delivers a realistic portrayal of unrequited love and what it can do to people

Peter Pan

The best story of all time!

Good fairytale

Good story

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

Best book ever, even the sequel was better!

Goldilocks and the Three Bears

Why does Goldilocks for no reason go into a random house in the woods tries their porridge, chair and bed?

This is a pointless story but SURE

The Three Little Pigs

You hate it just because the wolf comes down the chimney whereupon the pig catches the wolf in a cauldron of boiling water, slams the lid on, then cooks and eats him. He eats the first two pigs.

The wolf in Little Red Riding Hood was evil, the pigs weak? Umm no the third pig eats the wolf when he goes down the chimney into the cauldron.

Not only does it portray wolves as evil, but it also portrayed pigs as weaklings when in reality, pigs are very intelligent.

Wow overreaction, just because the last wolf got stuck in the chimney and dies.

Rumpelstiltskin

The Contenders

The Gingerbread Man

My fave
A little biscuit.

Jack the Giant Killer

It’s a great story! The only flaw is that the story teaches you that the bad guys always wins. Plus the giant dies. What da heck!

Awesome story for kids!
Amazing fairy tale
One of the best creations of Benjamin Tabart.
"Jack and the Beanstalk" is an English fairy tale. It appeared as "The Story of Jack Spriggins and the Enchanted Bean" in 1734 and as Benjamin Tabart's moralized "The History of Jack and the Bean-Stalk" in 1807.

The Snow Queen

A very exciting adventure about a girl trying to defeat an evil queen with the power to control ice

Snow White

So many elements of this fairy tale are iconic: the magic mirror, the 7 dwarves, the poisoned apple, the glass coffin...

The Princess and the Pea

Underrated fairy tale about a princess who's so sensitive she can feel a pea under 20 mattresses. Needs a Disney film adaptation!

Sleeping Beauty

Classic fairy tale about a princess who's been cursed to sleep for 100 years.

Thumbelina

A very interesting story about a girl the size of a thumb, who hatches from a flower

The Twelve Dancing Princesses

Underrated fairy tale about 12 princesses who mysteriously disappear every night to dance.

The Frog Prince

Classic fairy tale about a princess who has to kiss a frog to turn him back into a prince

Sinbad the Sailor

the best

The Goose Girl

Underrated fairy tale about a princess who gets her identity stolen by an evil servant. Needs a Disney film adaptation!

The Emperor's New Clothes
The Nutcracker and the Mouse King

I love this story! It’s a beautiful story told in the sacred language of dance. Who wouldn’t love that!?
