You want talking animals in family movies? Who needs dogs eating spaghetti or kids raised by wolves when you can have armoured polar bears and "daemons".
Now we're talking. Phillip Pullman knew how to write Y/A fantasy fiction.
Move over Baloo, Iorek Byrnisson is the bear you'd really want as a companion. He's armoured, he beats up other polar bears and is voiced by Ian "Gandalf" MacKellenV 1 Comment
The Simpsons Movie is definitely a family film. Whoever said it wasn't must have been on the gin or the beer.
Springfield's funniest yellow skinned family in their first big screen outing.
The Simpsons is for teens and adults you idiots. - RalphBobV 3 Comments
Great family movie, though some parts might be a little scary for the really young. - Freak_Show1
Iron Man doesn't need animation or songs to be entertaining. All it needs is witty one liners and awe inspiring action scenes. Iron Man has plenty.
True, but The Lion King is always entertaining anyway. I just meant there's lots of great reasons to like Disney's classic animated movies. And defiantly The Lion King had great lines (including one of my favorites, "They call me, MISTER PIG! ") and awesome action scenes. It's just brilliant and beautiful. You can like Iron Man better, that's fine, but please don't shun The Lion King. Don't shun Bambi either. Everybody in my favorite loves Thumper's line "If you can't say somethin' nice, don't say nothing' at all". Just like The Lion King Bambi is amazing. Don't think just because it's animated means it's only for kids! These two films and others like them appeal to all ages, even adults. Please respect that.
Sorry but why is some stupid lion and stupid deer ahead of Iron Man? Iron Man appeals to a wider audience than the likes of Bambi.
How can you insult EITHER of those movies like that? Bambi and The Lion King are both masterpieces. How can you not see that? They're both brilliant, heartfelt films with excellent animation, songs, score, and characters. If you can't see that, something's wrong with you. Really. You're wasting my time. (quote by Marlin from Finding Nemo, another excellent animated movie).
The movie that kicked off what we now know as the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It's an insult to see kiddie cartoons ahead of Iron Man
Not when they're excellent movies. Really, you don't have to be a kid to enjoy The Lion King, Bambi, or other excellent animated movies on this list. My parents and grandma most certainly agree. And you know The Lion King is the #1 animated movie on this site, right? And 18th on the best MOVIES. So there. Like I said before, if you can't see that, something's wrong with you. Really. You're wasting my time.V 4 Comments
I can't say I have ever heard of Music Man. Is he some kind of kid's superhero?
What the Hell is Music Man? I don't remember this character at all. What is his super power? My guess is that he's simmilar to Sour Note from the new SpongeBob movie.
What the F is Music Man? Is it meant to be a retarded version of Iron Man or something?V 1 Comment
This is one of the best movies ever made, and is the only extremely recent one on the list. Up is just amazing!V 1 Comment
The Worm-Guys are funny little scene stealers in this one.
Although I am not a fan of Harry potter, I do agree the movies are well-made and relate well to the book series.
GREAT MOVIE! Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet are amazing in this! My brother is an I-never-cry 17-year old and he was bawling by the ending scene.
Robert Downey jr returns as the billionaire superhero Iron Man
I'll love this movie forever
