There is no way you can hate this character. Even dead, he played a major role in the end of the series. I love Kamina.

It was also directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi and written by veteran playwright Kazuki Nakashima. Kamina is cool and Yoko is cute, but Simon is the main character for a reason. Yeah, so sometimes he's kind of a wimp, but wouldn't we be the same? He represents a normal person. But what really makes him awesome is when he gets mad. It's so inspiring.
While a lot of people say Kamina is their favorite, I personally prefer Simon. The amount of character development he goes through in the series is incredible.
Say what you will about Simon, but he's honestly my favorite character in his own series. Why? Because of his character development.

It was also directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi and written by veteran playwright Kazuki Nakashima. Nia actually proved to be a really strong and brave character. The way she held on, and she is one of the reasons for making this anime's end so awesome.
She is great. Love her to death, and her lines usually make me burst out laughing.
I, David Rivera, respect Viral from Gurren Lagann because Viral is a proud warrior who loves the thrill of battle. He's cocky and headstrong and refers to humans as "Naked Apes."
