The Top Ten
1 Coast to Coast - Overture and Beginners - The Faces
2 Live at Massey Hall 1971 - Neil Young
3 The Bootleg Series Vol. 4: Live 1966 - The "Royal Albert Hall" Concert - Bob Dylan
4 How the West Was Won - Led Zeppelin

The ultimate rock band. Excellence all around. The power is all around perfect. No wonder they broke Beatles records and have sold more albums than any other pure rock band of all time.

5 Live at the Harlem Square Club, 1963 - Sam Cooke
6 The Great Deceiver: Live 1973-1974 - King Crimson
7 Live Rust - Neil Young & Crazy Horse
8 Hammersmith Odeon, London '75 - Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band
9 Live at Reading - Nirvana
10 MTV Unplugged in New York - Nirvana
The Contenders
11 Fillmore West 1969: The Complete Recordings - Grateful Dead
12 Live at Leeds - The Who

The 15 minute "My Generation" is incredible. This was The Who at their finest.

13 Made In Japan - Deep Purple

By a mile - this is the greatest live album ever! No studio trickery (hello Lizzy & Priest), just musicians playing brilliantly on every track.

This and Live At Leeds are just otherworldly!
Both The Who and Deep Purpl in their prime, pulled off some of the most mindblowing live performances the world has ever seen/heard!

Another great live performance matched by very, very few other performances.

14 Dream Letter: Live In London 1968 - Tim Buckley
15 At Folsom Prison - Johnny Cash
16 Live After Death - Iron Maiden
17 Mingus at Antibes - Charles Mingus
18 Oral Fixation Tour - Shakira
19 The Confessions Tour - Madonna

It becomes more amazing every time you listen to it. Madonna can do her show in the best way ever. That's why you lose so much only listen to her. Go watch her show!

20 Band of Gypsies - Jimi Hendrix

This should be way higher for sure. I am happy that Made in Japan is very high but live at leeds is a bit too low as well.

Have you heard Machine Gun? That's all I have to say.

21 MTV Unplugged - Bryan Adams
22 Pulse - Pink Floyd

This was Pink Floyd very near the end of their career. This 1995 live performance is 2 and a half hours long, and is definitely worth hearing, and the videos of the performance captured with the light shows... wow.

how is it not on there?! they crashed a plane for gods sake!

23 Imaginations Through the Looking Glass (Live DVD 2004) - Blind Guardian
24 You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore, Vol. 2 - Frank Zappa
25 Tokyo Tales - Blind Guardian
