Kyo is a Japanese musician, poet and singer-songwriter. He is best known as the vocalist of the metal band Dir en grey. He has been with the band since its inception in 1997 and was formerly in La:Sadie's.
I find Kyo's lyrics not only more complex but also have more meaning to them than Maynard's. I am comparing Kyo to Maynard as I see small similarities as well as him being top. Although maybe not as re-known as him but for a fan of Tool I recommend strongly to check out Kyo's band Dir en grey. Also if you can get a hold of his poems. - Taloper

If anybody put as much feel into their music as Hendrix, I guarantee they would be very hard to find. - c0mf0rta61ynum6
