61 Axl Rose Axl Rose William Bruce Rose Jr., better known as 'Axl Rose', is an American singer born on February 6, 1962, in Lafayette, Indiana. He Is the founder and lead singer of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses. He is a celebrated but controversial figure in the world of rock.

LOL do you know how this list is a joke because the man that wrote the lyrics
By himself to Guns N' Roses's BIGGEST 3 HITS (still heard on the radio today) Sweet Child O' Mine, November Rain and Welcome To The Jungle is not even in the top 200. Yet The Fall Out Boy Singer,Taylor Swift, and a slew of thugs that have no talent and somehow are popular called rappers are ahead of him. So the guy that wrote the lyrics to Estranged, Breakdown, One In A Million, Rocket Queen, Street Of Dreams, among many, MANY others doesn't make the top 200 but Eddie Vedar makes the top 60? ,The legend that had a big hand in writing Nightrain, Coma, The Garden, You Could Be Mine, Don't Cry but Ozzy makes the list what? (I love Sabbath but Geezer Butler wrote 90% or more of their lyrics) I'd put the man in the top ten but if you don't have him or Izzy in the top 25. The list is a joke.

Chinese democracy was a brilliant album
I loved street of Dreams
"All the love in the world couldn't save you
All the innocence inside"

He should be much much higher on this list This I know. He should be at least in the top 30, Axl Rose has one of the worst childhoods of any famous singer I know. He has a great range, can play the piano very, very well, And he never gave up on his dream of Gn'R. He could of just quit, or not come back after being gone for 10 years. I love Guns'N' Roses whether Slash is on the band or not. Rock on Axl, I hope he's still rocking decades from now, One of the greatest artists out there, in my mind at least. (If you don't agree listen to "November Rain" Or the album "Chinese Democracy") m/

Axl Rose is an a**hole but he is one of the finest lyricists of all time for sure, nothing can take that away from him, his lyrics speak, the band would write the music juz in a day or two but axl would sit few more days on the lyrics. Definitely one of the best lyricist.

Who's the Musically illiterate 12 year-old (Not that 12 year-olds are musically illiterate, I'm 12. ) who put JAY-Z on the list! I mean I can almost see why Taylor Swift is on the list, but jay-Z? Really people! Can you put Jay-Z on this list while Robert Plant is still alive? Who ever put him on this list, Must not have heard Rock'N'Roll In their lifetime, and with that being said I almost feel bad for you... Almost.

69 Jason Lancaster

Dude Jason's the best! All lyrics to songs by Go Radio are incredible as well as his lyrics for Mayday Parade's first EP and album! He's highly unrecognized! Check out songs Redemption in The Verse, Any Other Heart, and House of Hallways by Go Radio, and Three Cheers for Five Years, Miserable At Best, and Ocean and Atlantic by Mayday Parade!

The best in pop punk.
The way he sings ABOUT singing in "if you wanted a song written about you all you had to do was ask? "

You dropped a note and we changed key
You changed yourself and I changed me
I really didn't see us singing through this
You screamed the bridge and I cried the verse
And our chorus came out unrehearsed
And you smiled the whole way through it
I guess maybe that's what's worse

Listen to "hold on" from his new band go radio's new album "lucky street", and anybody who's ever listened to mayday parade's first album knows how great his lyricism is.

Drove 9 hours to see go radio in nashville... And it was absolutely worth it

Props to this guy.

One of the more under rated lyricists. Every song has multiple meanings...

Literally God when it comes to lyricism. Just listen to tracks such as *Dramamine", "Trailer Trash", " Bankrupt on Selling", and "Whenever I Breathe Out, You Breathe In"

In your bedroom
Make you feel warm
Make you wanna re-assume"
