Best Male Survivor Players
Tom Westman is a Sole Survivor of the series Survivor. He competed on Survivor: Palau and Heroes vs. Villains. Tom also can WIN the game unlike Russell. russell shouldn't even be top 40 not only since he didn't win the game which is one thing, but unlike many other non winners he is literally incapable of ever having won the game. There is no chance period of Russell ever winning Survivor due to his poor social skills, terrible jury management, and clueless end game management (eg not even knowing who makes sense to bring to Final Tribal).
Not enough votes for one of the best there ever was! Underrated due to only appearing on 2 seasons, one he went out pre merge, and lack of hype from CBS. A far better player than Rob or Russell at the very least.
Totally pawned a pretty good cast and easily outsmarted some legitimately good players like Ian, Steph, Jenn, Gregg. Sure there were some duds like Katie and Caryn, but overall he outsmarted and outplayed a real good group!
Amazing player, awesome man, and social game was so good he basically was able to guilt Ian into giving up the game to him.
Seems to understand the game and the dynamics of it well, especialy for someone who doesn't follow much Survivor. Would love to see him back.
Great overall player, was unlucky to not win Redemption Island. Could easily win if he plays again.
Great in challenges and great socially. Probably unbeatable if he ever made the end and a jury vote.

Russell Hantz is an oil company owner and former contestant of the reality show Survivor. He played 3 seasons, and never finished higher than 2nd. Russell sucks. How can someone who can't ever win the game even if he played it 1000 times be a good player. Denise Martin has a better shot to win the game than him. It doesn't matter how many big plays and moves he makes, if he is incapable of winning.
How is he 3rd. He is a horrible player. I would argue he is one of the 10 worst players of all time, since he literally can't win. Debb Eaton is more capable of winning the game (getting to the end as some flukish floater and winning through bitter jury) than he ever is.
Best player ever. You might say he can never win, but first, that's only true if every jury he faces is bitter. Also, if you win, it doesn't automatically make you a great player, brainlets. He's a two time winner.
The only time Rob & Russell ever truly went head 2 head, Russell schooled him! R.I. was a joke! Russell should be number 1!
Excellent social and strategic game. He was very aware of other player's strategies and appealed to the personalities and situations of others to make them do what he needed. He made smart alliances from the beginning and flawlessly adapted to the twists of the game. He maintained decency and stayed true to his alliances, especially with Becky, who voted with him the entire time and helped him get to the end. In addition to that, he found the immunity idol after only one visit to Exile and managed to use it as a diversion of sorts... the other players were reluctant to vote for him when he had the idol because they knew they may be voted off. He kept Aitu strong with his encouraging personality and physical ability, giving him an easy route to the Final Tribal Council. He performed very well when speaking to the jury that he made, ultimately giving him the win.
He only won the season since it was a racial based racist season and the stupid bottle twist. Plus the overpowered idol which meant he could never be voted out, when you know Ozzy would have taken him out near the end otherwise. Ozzy and Parv were robbed!
Brilliant overall player. Near perfect game. Pawned all time greats like Parvati on his season. Should be much higher than 4th. Way better player than Rob and Russell, the two most overrated Survivors ever.

Robert Carlo "Rob" Mariano, known by the nickname Boston Rob, is an American television personality, widely known for appearing in several reality shows, including Survivor, and The Amazing Race with his wife, Amber Mariano. Rob deserves to be a lot higher because he played four times and when he played the fourth time he made a solid alliance and no one even dared to go against him. He was such a strong leader he literally had one person tell him that they were going to vote him about because they trusted him that much. So to all you people saying he is overrated, he did a lot better than you guys could ever do, and he is so liked and strategic that he came back 3 times after he first played.
The most overrated player ever, other than maybe russel hantz.

Oscar "Ozzy" Lusth is a reality star, well known for playing on the his reality show "Survivor." He played in the seasons "Cook Islands," "Micronesia," "South Pacific," and "Game Changers." Ozzy is a great athlete & outdoorsman. In his first season he threw a challenge to drop "dead weight". Then he got blinded by boobs & a pretty smile. His third attempt he flirted with a girl to the detriment of his team. Leaving Cochron alone & unable to find for himself. Making him an easy flip at the merge. Coach only had to talk to him, make him a bed and offer some rice! He did so well, because coach eliminated all the athletic people & Ozzy didn't have to play a social game on RI, just survive & a physical one-- his strong suit & he still lost to SOPHIE! Maybe in 34 he'll get his head out his ass & play the game! But I do like to watch him play at Tarzan!
He is amazing, loyal, and fair, which is hardly ever seen in the game. Also keeps the tribe alive at camp as well as in challenges.

On a season called Second Chances Jeremy mastered and perfected his Second Chance. Impeccable game of Survivor by him!

He is overrated. His slash and burn style would never cut it in a regular season. Heck we got the proof of that when he was the 2nd boot on his tribe on Game Changers.
So overlooked and underrated
His stepping off the beam to let Kelly or Rudy win when he knew both would take him, and he knew he would lose Rudy's vote if he voted him out as he had as he could never win over Rudy was brilliant. The one down side is if Rudy had won the challenge though.
In hindsight his win was huge for the show and what it needed.
They should have kept Brandon Hantz & dumped Phillip! Brandon is controllable if played right. They controlled Dawn so they had the means for Brandon. I think Phillip makes camp horrible & I hate watching him, his dumb team names & he has NO self awareness!
If he didn't stick with Reynold and Michael and Eddie, then he would have won many immunity challenges and immunity idols for himself. Corinne and Malcolm should've have dominated
So sexy sweet, funny, strategic, I just love him so much. I hope he isn't replaced by the crazy overrated Joe as Survivor's favorite golden boy.
Should be in the top 3! Easily one of the best players to never win, and better than many winners.
I think he's sadly overlooked because he only played once, but I think it's more impressive to play one solid game then it is to finally win one after four tries. Just saying.

Awesome player! Strong at challenges, camp & social. He is a hard worker and loyal. First fake idol! Remember he lived at that sad camp without food or water--- imagine if the other team had the same circumstances!
A lot of people are hard on him taking Tina to the Final 2 but I always defend it. People forget Survivor was way different then, and taking Tina instead of Keith made him a hero. He went on to a stellar acting and T.V. career.

Overrated. Set up his end game in a way he couldn't ever win, and probably loses a jury vote to Jenna of all people. And his All Stars performance was a joke, even the past winners with the casts anti winners pact mostly outlasted him.
Tasha was a challenge beast this season and not unlikeable like Cambodia. She probably beats Spencer in a jury vote on Cagayan, unlike Cambodia where she probably would have lost to Spencer if they were with someone they could beat.
Played an amazing game in Cambodia and was robbed by a bitter jury. Played an almost equally amazing game in Cagayan and wins if he makes the end as he nearly did. Could have been another 2 time winner for the show!
He should be on number 5
