Ranking Every Single Mario Kart Game (Worst To Best) + Thanks For 50 Followers!

TristGamer its ya boi.. Hi, I'm TristGamer and I would like to thank all my 50 followers for well, following me!

Anyways, today I'm gonna review and rank ever Mario Kart Game excluding the arcade games worst to best and also stating the best and worst tracks (no retro) Hope you enjoy.

8. Mario Kart Super Circuit
Mario Kart: Super Circuit was the first handheld Mario Kart game and the best-selling non-Pokemon game in the Game Boy Advance which I'm surprised it isn't Dogz GBA. Super Circuit had everything you would expect in a regular handheld Mario Kart game, Wireless multiplayer, battle mode, and a Time Trial mode. But, it has a very small selection of 8 characters and once you finish the game all you can really do is keep on racing, battle mode, or find yourself friends that also play this game. The game has great visuals, but the tracks seem to all be the same but different backgrounds and the roads are different. Peach Circuit was a piece of boring crap, not only that, but the controls were very rubbish, and it was very hard to steer like an amazing Mario Kart pro. So this takes the last spot.

Best Tracks: Lakeside Park, Ribbon Road, Sunset Wilds, Cheese Land,
Worst Tracks: Riverside Park, Shy Guy Beach, PEACH CIRCUIT.

7. Mario Kart Double Dash
It's pretty surprising to say this is the 4th Mario Kart Game, to me it looks like the 7th because of its amazing Gamecube graphics. This game released the new concept of double racers, even though they released this supposingly cool concept, it failed to fill in those big shoes after Mario Kart 64. The tracks weren't great,(Excluding Rainbow Road, Wario Coliseum and Baby Park) there was Peach Beach, Mushroom City, Sherbet Land.. those were pretty plain courses that seemed to try to recapture the same magic from Mario Kart 64.

Best Tracks: Baby Park, Rainbow Road, Wario Coliseum, Waluigi Stadium, DK Mountain, Dino Dino Jungle, Yoshi Circuit, Daisy Cruiser.
Worst Tracks: Sherbet Land, Mushroom City, Peach Beach.

6. Mario Kart Wii
Mario Kart Wii is the second most-selling game in the Wii console, first place obviously being Wii Sports, and its even the fourth best-selling game of 2008 in the United States. Mario Kart Wii introduced the making of bikes to the Mario Kart franchise, this got negative reception due to the fact it is called Mario KAAARRRTTTT Wii, it was also the introduction to making tricks when you go up ramps and also introduced the Mega Mushroom, a new item that allows you to grow colossally and crush karts. The problems were that the Online mode was complete trash, it kept lagging, and you wouldn't want to play an online race if the lag keeps taking you back to 12th place. The bikes were actually kind of naff, and the motion controls with the introduction of the Wii Wheel sucked and didn't make the game fun when you are tilting the wifi wheel to the right but end up crashing to the left. All of course, the Mario Kart games are good, but imagine playing Online mode with a Wii Wheel with a bike. Disasters.

Best Tracks: Maple Treeway, Koopa Cape, Coconut Mall, Toad Factory, Bowser's Castle, and Rainbow Road.
Worst Tracks: Dry Dry Ruins, Daisy, Mario, and Luigi Circuit.

5. Mario Kart 7
Mario Kart 7 was pretty much limited Mario Kart Wii on the 3DS. It also had motion controls, all you have to do is press up in the control pad and it looks like you are the one driving the kart, but, it sucks. You can use the circle pad to drive while in first person mode but if you want to like be in bed while playing and you sleep in the side. You'll go crashing to the side, so pretty much the motion/first person controls were useless. Other than that, one of the things Mario Kart 7 introduced were hang-gliders and the really cool underwater sceneries, and they introduced a few new characters which I want to talk about in a second. The Time Trials were put a lot into, you can use Spotpass AND Streetpass to download ghosts to race and get a better time against the person you downloaded. The problems with this is the roster, it is worst than Mario Kart 8 actually. The unlockable characters for the retro courses are Wiggler, Lakitu, Shy Guy...and the Honey Bee queen from Super Mario Galaxy. Huh, I never expected to race as a character no one needed. Also, the retro tracks SUCK.

Best Tracks: Rainbow Road, Music Park, Rock Rock Mountain, Wuhu Loop, DK Jungle.
Worst Tracks: Rainbow Road SNES, Koopa Beach GC, Cheep Cheep Lagoon, Mushroom Gorge Wii.

4. Mario Kart DS
Mario Kart DS is also just your regular Mario Kart game, it has Grand Prix, Time Trials, Versus, and Battle Mode. The characters were great! You can play the whole Mario crew. But a very odd addition was R.O.B, you know, the Wall-E look-alike from the 80s that also was in Super Smash Bros 3-4. The tracks were fine, I like how in each retro cup there is one SNES course, one GBA, one N64, and one GCN. My favorite mode in the game is Mission Mode, this was cool and every day when I was little I would spend hours trying to get 3 stars on every mission and end up crying. Ahh...memories.

Best Tracks: Waluigi Pinball

3. Super Mario Kart
Ahh, the very first Mario Kart game, on the SNES. Super Mario Kart is the perfect representation of an amazing kart-racing game. The music gives me nostalgia (Koopa Beach and Mario Circuit.) Who could forget those multi-colored blocks in Mario Circuit? Who could forget our sorrow after we fall so many times in Ghost Valley? Super Mario Kart is just 0.000000001 times better than DS, the tracks were great designs!

Yes, I'm not finished, that's how lazy I am.

...or not. - visitor

Looks like we have very opposite opinions. Double Dash, 7 and Wii are some of my favourite games in the series, whereas Mario Kart DS, Super and 64 are my least favourite ones. Oh well we can both agree Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is great at least - visitor
