Holy Wars could be the best song ever written, but all 9 other tracks are just as snarly and insane.
Every single track blows your mind with speed and technical prowess.
Opeth isn't everyone's cup of tea, but this album is just so dark and raw at the same time, I couldn't leave it out
Many people will say Sacrament or Ashes should be here, and I thought about it, but Wrath represents the violence and well, wrath, we all have inside us.
I think this album deserves a higher spot because of how amazing it is, but none the less, Aesthetics of Hate remains my favourite song. Their new album Locust is extremely good as well, just didn't want the same band on here twice.
A classic, but every single song is fast and what metal really is, heavy
It's prog, but it's awesome
I almost gave this to Avenged Sevenfold, but the melodic viking metal Amon Amarth spit out in this album is just too gnarly to pass up.
