Best Metal Gear Bosses
Plenty of ways to defeat him. Obviously waiting to return to MGS3 after a week or advancing your system clock ahead in that timeframe simply means he'll die from old age. As for the real fight itself; a long and realistic yet SPECTACULAR fight! And with a few tricks up his sleeve when being fought throughout the jungle, he's easily the smartest boss in the series (in terms adapting to the player's fighting style that is), and one of gaming's smartest bosses in general.
Psycho Mantis raping the fourth wall makes him my favorite video game villain by far
I remember when he read your memory card in the first one. Definitely the best MGS boss.

Everything a boss battle should be. All games should take notes, and I don't mean just the Metal Gear games. Armstrong has several forms, puts just about all of the player's skills to the test, and even then, he isn't really a "bad guy" per se. He's kinda still in the right when he explains himself.
