Thrash Metal is just the PERFECT subgenre to headbang to!

Okay, headbanging to some old Iron Maiden songs, or some epic speedy Motorhead, or some good old Black Sabbath is great too, but Thrash is just the best music for headbanging!

The guitars sound epic as hell. It's great fun to learn if you're a guitarist, too. I might need to have a few treatments since my head might very well fall off.

3 Groove metal

Why the heck is groove metal not on this list? Who is making this list? Please add this metal sub-genre because you know this is one of the best forms of metal. Listen to Lamb of God, Pantera, Machine Head... There are many more, and get to know what actually is groove metal, and you will realize why this category was not on this list earlier. The best part is that when you headbang to some awesome song of this genre, you will be in a whole new world. You will experience what real metal is... m/m/m/m/m/
