This has to be the worst metal list I have ever seen - 99% of the songs on this list aren't metal, including this song. Putting this song at #1 means only one thing: voters didn't know what metal is.

This is the most badass metal song I have heard since bands like Metallica, Slayer, Pantera and Megadeth! Avenged Sevenfold inarguably have the best guitarists, drummer, and one of the most unique singers. This song is just so BADASS, the riffs are aggressive and heavy, the solo is insanely awesome, the vocals sound badass, the lyrics are dark and aggressive and very powerful, and the drumming ties in flawlessly with the guitar. This should be number one easily. One of the most metal songs you will ever hear.

Man! Some of the songs on the list aren't even metal. Laid to rest is a kickass song and definitely the best modern metal song. In my opinion, walk with me in hell should also be in the top 10 along with redneck. Aveneged sevenfold definitely is a great band but when it comes to metal, lam of god rules it all.
