Best Movie Score Composers

The Contenders: Page 3

41 Ramin Djawadi

One epic composer, for some reason he reminds me of Two Steps from Hell, his music just drives the films like the Pacific Rim theme, gets me right in the moment

He is a great composer and well-known one.Game of throne, clash of titans, iron man aren't these enough to be amongst the top 20. It is a pity of course when I didn't saw his name on this list.

42 Jerry Fielding
43 Patrick Doyle

Patrick Doyle is awesome. He definitely makes 4th on my list

Very underrated.
Remember Harry Potter 4 and the Thor Soundtrack.
He just needs more good requests

45 Murray Gold

What a shame, I was hoping top 30, I love this guy so much and his attitude and outlook is just amazing but there are too many people that I have told people about Murray Gold that just don't recognize the name and it's a real shame, some of the scores from Doctor Who are just thrilling and remembering, I particularly enjoy "Scarecrows go to War" and "Martha's Theme"

He has written some truly, truly, beautiful music. Stuff that would put him up there with the likes of John Williams if he wasn't so overlooked. Give the Doctor Who soundtrack a try. I guarantee you'll be pleasantly surprised by how amazing it is.

46 Nicholas Hooper

Hooper is brilliant. I can't believe he's not up in 5th position where I wanted him.

47 Dimitri Tiomkin
48 Dominic Frontiere
49 Nobuo Uematsu Nobuo Uematsu Nobuo Uematsu is a Japanese video game composer, best known for scoring the majority of titles in the Final Fantasy series.
50 John Ottman

No words..Just hear apocalypse score..

51 Klaus Badelt

Why is the composer of "He's a Pirate," "Will and Elizabeth," and more amazing Pirates of the Caribbean songs not on this list?

Whoops. Don't vote for him. Hans Zimmer actually played a huge role in the first soundtrack.

52 Tom Holkenborg

Mad Max Fury Road: The bombastic Brothers in Arms soundtrack.

53 Henry Jackman

Loved what he did with Wreck-It Ralph!

54 Joseph LoDuca

The man responsible for one of the most terrifying and iconic Horror movie scores of all time (The Evil Dead) and all its sequels (Evil Dead II, Army of Darkness) Plus his work on The TNT franchise The Librarian (The Librarian: Quest for the Spear, Return to King Solomon's Mines and Curse of the Judas Chalice) And let's not forget his fantastic work in the realm of Television score as well. (Hercules, Xena, Spartacus, The Librarians, Ash Vs Evil Dead) just to name a few. How Mr. LoDuca wasn't even in this list yet amazes me.

55 Mark Mothersbaugh

He used to be a musician and carried his momentum into film composing. He is really wise when it comes to tech music. - BoltMarksman
