Top Ten Best Movie Slashers

The Top Ten
1 Michael Myers Michael Myers is a character from the Halloween series of slasher films. He first appears in John Carpenter's Halloween as a young boy who murders his older sister, then fifteen years later returns home to murder more teenagers. In October 2018, a sequel to the original Halloween was released, following 20 years after Michael Myers’s story.

The literal personification of evil itself. He is a force of nature, he can't be stopped. He's silent and menacing, with no regards to morality or humanity. He is the thing all horror movie slashers should be. He's simple, pure, uncorrupted evil and fear. He can't die. But his he really even alive? There is no man behind the mask, nothing lies behind that mask, just another mask that hides the true evil Michael is. Jason, Freddy, John Kramer, Ghostface, they all pale in comparison to the original master of horror. The Shape is the undisputed King of Slasher films.

Michael is perhaps the most human of the slashers, as he seems to possess a genuine sense of humanity (e.g. showing Jamie his face and crying, gently taking the baby from Tommy, not mindlessly killing everyone, etc.); but, it is often overshadowed by whatever supernatural force compels him to continue living... and to continue killing.

Damn, I heard a noise in my hallway after watching the movie... I couldn't fall asleep for the next hour. Scary as hell. He's not mental. He's not crazy.

He's evil.

dude, he is so messed up in the head. Even the music in Halloween is scarier than these other dudes on the list

2 Jason Voorhees Jason Voorhees is a character from the Friday the 13th series. He first appeared in Friday the 13th as the young son of camp cook-turned-murderer, Mrs. Voorhees.

This demented, deformed degenerate is one of the slasher genre's most relentless killers. He shows virtually no humanity and is merely a killing machine beyond our understanding.

He is a unkillable relentless murdering machine from hell he killed over 200 people in so many creative and enjoyable ways hearing his little chant scared the hell out of me

3 Freddy Krueger Fred "Freddy" Krueger is the main antagonist of the A Nightmare on Elm Street film series. He first appeared in Wes Craven's A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984).

Master of puns, one-liners, and the dream realm, Freddy is a terrifying demon who makes and plays the game by his own rules. He is also one of the most dynamic killers due to his witty and charismatic personality, which is fueled by dark humor and toying with his victims.

Freddy because everyone here has to dream sometime or fall asleep. But Myers is really good anyway. But he's no Freddy!

4 Leatherface Leatherface is a character in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre horror-film series and its spin-offs. He wears masks made of human skin and engages in murder and cannibalism, alongside his inbred family.

This guy is just boring

5 Norman Bates Norman Bates is a character created by writer Robert Bloch as the main character in his novel Psycho, and portrayed by Anthony Perkins as the primary antagonist of the 1960 film of the same name directed by Alfred Hitchcock and its sequels.

"how's it hangin' phil? "

8 Hannibal Lecter Dr. Hannibal Lecter is a character in a series of suspense novels by Thomas Harris. Lecter was introduced in the 1981 thriller novel Red Dragon as a forensic psychiatrist and cannibalistic serial killer.

I love Michael Myers and honestly he's my favorite. But I decided to try and give more votes for Hannibal Lecter personally he's me third favorite and I think he's a awesome slasher.

9 Pinhead Pinhead is the main antagonist of the Hellraiser film series. He is the Hell Priest of a sinister realm called the Labyrinth, and is the leader of the order of the gash, an order of demons known as Cenobites who collect the souls of victims who open the lament confirmation.
