What a classic...!

The suspense, the use of practical effects and everything about this movie was phenomenal. The best thing about this movie was it's use of being ambiguity with the identity of the monster, and especially the ending.

This should be number 1, its one of the most interesting and scary movies ever, while halloween is a classic its just too dated whereas the thing still looks visually spectacular

This, quite possibly, could be the greatest horror movie ever made.

Best practical effects in a movie EVER.

Beautifully filmed, fantastic score and one of the spookiest films I saw as a teen. No blood or gore but atmospheric as hell.
