Best NBA Teams of All-time

The Top Ten

1995-96 Chicago Bulls

They just are! No competitors, I know their are other amazing teams but its just simple...1995-96 Chicago Bulls are the best of all time! With the best one and only Michael Jordan and other greats like Scottie Pippen as well as the help from Rodman and rest of team, its no competition as to who is the best

They had the best player in the game, he would make the plays when the team needed them. And had the support from his teammates to get them in position to win. Great team, great franchise. MJ will forever be the greatest player.

They swept 2 playoff series, including the 60 win Magic and took down a 64 win team in the finals after leading 3-0. They were never tied or behind in any playoff series and this was the 4th of 6 NBA titles and the front end of a three-peat. They won 72 games and had the best athlete of the 20th century. This is not a close call, except that the 1997 Bulls (69 wins) was not too far behind.

This team should defiantly be the number one team. This is the only team in NBA History to go 72-10. Plus they had Michael Jordan on that team (best player in history). Even though I'm a huge Celtics fan I still have to vote this team to being number one.

1985-86 Boston Celtics

With everyone finally healthy including Walton they were the best team ever.
People forget Bird from 84-through 87 but really 84,85,86 was the greatest three year window of anyone in NBA ever. He could basically do anything he wanted it was needed at the time.
This team by far was also the greatest passing team ever. #2 doesn't even come close. The Lakers passed due fast break points. Which you can't have's fast break every possession. The Celtics would pass the extra pass to the open guy and he'd find the more open guy to then finally passing to the guy with nobody within 8 feet of him.

This 86 celtics team was the best ever.

This team did have a weakness. It was speed. The Showtime Lakers who you have as low as 8 on this list. Beat the Celtics who you have at number two in the season before and again in the season after. In fact Showtime beat this team two out of three times in the decade and you have them as low as 8? I have a Boston fan too but take off the blinders

5 Hall of Famers, MVP Larry Bird, 67-15 record, 40-1 home record, 15-3 playoff record= Greatest of All Time

To big, to smart, great depth, great team defense, could play any style of basketball. Not a single weekness on this team. in my opinion would beat 95-96 Bulls in 6 maybe 5 games

1971-72 L.A. Lakers

Wilt was at his most powerful during this period, around 315 pounds of solid muscle, and almost 2 inches taller than Shaq.
Wilt would chew LeBron up, and spit him out.
Jerry West never played in the 3-point goal era, but he would have torn the league up even more if given that opportunity; by the way, West STILL holds the NBA scoring record for a playoff series.

Chamberlain beast Jerry West like how does it get any better don't forget Elgin

One word: Wilt Chamberlain

1964-65 Boston Celtics

I want a team that Is more reasant from 2010-2017

2013-14 San Antonio Spurs

The way they dismantled the defending champions Miami Heat...they should be higher than the Raptors that didn't even make the finals...ever.

1986-87 L.A. Lakers

I was able to see this team during he 86/87 campaign. I was not sure how they possible lost more than five games. Just tremendous talent and so much fun to watch. Abdul-Jabbar was still magnificent at his advantaged (basketball) age.

2001-02 Los Angeles Lakers

Kobe Bryant the Black Mamba

They had the best team around that time they had Shaq and Kobe the best two of the 2000s era

2002-03 San Antonio Spurs

Best team ever. Tim Duncan in his prime. David older, but still amazing especially on the boards. Young manu and parker. Bruce Bowen best perimeter defender. Steve Smith good shooter, and Stephen Jackson was there to do anything that was needed. Malik rose was good too. Gregg popovich best coach of all time! Nothing more needs to be said.

The twin towers plus tony and Manu would crush anything

David, Tim, Manu, Tony, Steve, Bruce, Jackson

One of the greatest team ever!

1966-67 Philadelphia 76ers

Given the rigorous travel schedule in 66-67 and 43-4 start to the season, this is the greatest NBA single season team ever assembled. From Wilt Chamberlain, Hal Greer, Wali Jones, Luke Jackson, and Chet Walker all in their prime, to the younger future all-stars like Billy Cunningham, this team was without equal during this year. Even with the tiring schedule they won 68 games.

Wilt Chamberlain is better than Shaq

1962-63 Boston Celtics

The Contenders

2015-16 Golden State Warriors

They are comparable to the 96 Bulls. At the very least, they deserve to be top 5 or 10. One of the greatest teams ever. (And that's saying something, since I personally hate them! I'm a huge Jordan fan! ) But you gotta give credit where it's due. They should be higher.

They are easily the best team all around

Even better than the 2014 - 15 Warriors! Kiss that 72 - 10 record good-bye! Here come the Warriors with a 20 - 0 record as of now!

Hold on 11? You had to put this on 11? You've got to be kidding me gosh people don't know basketball best record bulls had 72-10 but warriors got 73-9 oh wait is it because we blew a 3-1 lead in the finals? Eh won it back to back 2017 2018 champs. Also this team has the biggest names in the nba. Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Iggy, And now we have Demarcus Cousins.

1988-89 Detroit Pistons

Got screwed in 88. Should have been 3 in a row. Isaiah should have been on the dream team. Stockton couldn't carry his jock strap.

Only 4 teams has won back to back championships, the celtics, lakers, bulls and the pistons

They were so good back then

Bad boys forever

2012-13 Miami Heat

They had the best record plus they had the elite three

Best big three of all time. Period.

The best Big 3 I have ever seen

Why don't we throw this to number 1 if it had allthe mean people

1987-88 Los Angeles Lakers
1996-97 Chicago Bulls
1970-71 Milwaukee Bucks

Should be higher up on list. The Big O plus Sweet Lew and awesome supporting cast. This team was unstoppable. Swept Bullets in 4. Would have won more but Lew took his show to LA.

Should be higher on the list. Lew and the big O

1969-70 New York Knicks

this was a great team back then

1982-83 Philadelphia 76ers
1984-85 Boston Celtics
1982-83 Philadelphia 76ers
1990-91 Chicago Bulls
1997-98 Utah Jazz

I love the jazz

2007-08 Boston Celtics
1994-95 Houston Rockets

Should be number 1

1969-70 New York Knicks
