New Nickelodeon Show: Hunter Street

I think that 2017 will be a very good year for Nickelodeon, for many reasons. Such as them bringing back Hey Arnold!, ending production on the Thundermans, as well as other great things. They have just released 3 new shows: Ride, Power Rangers Ninja Steel, and Bunsen is a Beast. Bunsen is a Beast is really good for a modern Nicktoon, Ride is better than Make it Pop, and the new Power Rangers is at least decent compared to the last series. Nickelodeon is really On A Roll with all this new content.

Yesterday, Nickelodeon posted a YouTube video about their latest series: Hunter Street. You can check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DL1jaFUwAfM

Heres the info on this show: The new live-action comedy adventure series Hunter Street is due to debut on Nickelodeon in the U.S. next month. (wow, not too far)

Hunter Street follows five foster children on a mission to locate their missing parents, who mysteriously disappeared. The 20-episode show stars Stony Blyden, MaeMae Renfrow, Kyra Smith, Daan Creyghton and Thomas Jansen. It is set to begin airing on weekdays as of Monday, March 13, at 7 p.m.
Hunter Street is produced by Blooming Media. The series was co-developed with Nickelodeon Netherlands’ De Ludwigs and will premiere on Nick’s international channels in the spring.

To me, this series actually looks really good. I would really like to know what happened to their parents. Seriously. It also gives me a House of Anubis vibe. Plus, it doesn't have a laugh track! What a relief. And its not any of the following:
-A sitcom with laugh tracks, toilet jokes, and poor morals
-A girly drama with bad camera setup, fake drama, and overall cheesiness
-A "reality" show that only focuses on sports, celebrities, and lame pranks.
Those 3 types of live action shows are all Nick has been giving us for the past year. Of course, there's the occasional action show, but thats just Power Rangers. It seems like an "Other" show. A show that has no laugh tracks, but has great comedy and no drama. 100 Things, Legendary Dudas, Big Time Rush, and Ned's Declassified are great examples of this. If Hunter Street is about mysteries, then its obvious it'll have an arc. BUT it won't be like Make it Pop or The Other Kingdom. It'll be a unique show. I have been worried that Nick has been giving us less cartoons and more sitcoms, but at least Ride is ending its first season and will get pulled off the air

I just watched the premiere. Its good, but I think the theme song is way too short. - visitor

I saw the first episode. I'm watching the 2nd one now. The show is a little boring, but its still good. Plus, the mystery is suspenseful and Max, Sal, Tess, Anika, and Daniel actually care for each other, unlike Phoebe, Max (Thunderman), Chloe, Nora, and Billy. Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn abuse each other as well. The Loud siblings may fight a lot, and Lincoln gets unfair treatment in some episodes, but in MOST episodes, they apologize at the end and improve. - visitor
