Best Nu-Metal Bands

The Contenders: Page 3

41 Snot

Lynn Strait the previous lead singer of Snot is probably one of the best nu-metal/hardcore singers of all time if not the best. The power in his voice is at Corey Taylors level and their songs also have clean messages with a lot of power and rage. An example is Deadfall which is one of their most popular songs that shows us how talented these boys are and how much more attention they deserve/deserved. The drummer in Snot is also probably the best nu-metal drummer of all time right after David Silveria.

Snot is a lot better than most bands above.

42 Faith No More Faith No More Faith No More is an American rock band from San Francisco, California, formed in 1979. Before settling on their current moniker in 1983, the band performed under the names Sharp Young Men and later Faith No Man.

How is this band not in this list?! They started Nu-Metal! Without them, Nu-Metal wouldn't be here.

Really again! They are the originators of Nu-metal.

This band should be at the top 30 or higher.

Faith no more is not nu-metal they are in there own category.

43 Kittie Kittie Kittie are a Canadian heavy metal band formed in London, Ontario, in 1996. They have released six studio albums, one video album, four extended plays, thirteen singles and thirteen music videos.

Kittie should be at number one. Its sad that no one is helping them with tour money because they are amazing. They have cool songs like Run Like Hell and Suck and really are nu metal goddesses. Slipknot really helped them launch a tour. They have tons of albums and hopefully out out more because no band compares to the unique style of this band. Female or not they are just amazingly talented!

The first album Spit is great. You will love the catchy songs and hardcore lyrics that embodied that era of the 90s. Coal chamber and kittie are what nu metal is all about

Great metal band. Should of never stopped touring. Great vocals

Kick ass

44 Killswitch Engage Killswitch Engage Killswitch Engage is an American metalcore band from Westfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1999 after the disbanding of Overcast and Aftershock.

Not even numetal so don't even dare to try to vote for them on this list and this is an insult that people don't know their genres.

I'm killswitch is amazing regardless of genre label. Lacuna Coil? Ba ha ha ha ha

45 Thousand Foot Krutch Thousand Foot Krutch

Love this band; got me into this kind of music!

They're awesome! One of my favorite bands. I love the song Down, War of Change, Courtesy Call and many others - BlueFrostOfThunderClan

"Puppet" is one of the best nu metal songs ever! It's sad how these guys are so underrated.

46 Five Finger Death Punch Five Finger Death Punch Five Finger Death Punch is an American heavy metal band from Las Vegas, Nevada. Formed in 2005, the band's name is derived from a fictional martial arts maneuver in the 2003 film Kill Bill.

Best live concert by far, very engaged with the crowd. One of a few bands who actually went to Iraq to support the troops. By far my number 1.

The greatest of all time!

Why is FFDP not in the Top 10? They support the troops, they send out an extremely positive message, and their music is great. I'd put this band at #7 if it was up to me.

Amazing *-*

47 Hollywood Undead Hollywood Undead Hollywood Undead is an American rap rock band from Los Angeles, California, United States. They released their debut album, Swan Songs, on September 2, 2008, and their live CD/DVD Desperate Measures, on November 10, 2009. Their second studio album, American Tragedy, was released April 5, 2011. All of more.

Really like this band's style. Not putting down other bands but this band's lyrics just speak to me on a personal level and I like that they have songs for all occasions

They're lyrics are inspiring and have a true meaning alongside their rhythm and beat

Honestly this band should be higher up on the list. They have quite a bit of diversity in their music. From rap-rock to party bumping as well. Charlie does most of the party music while j3t does the inspirational or deep feeling parts. Granted they have change their style on their last album. They still have great music such as: we are, hear me now, undead, and a whole lot more. Swan songs it their best album to date in my opinion.

Really good mix of sounds like so many other unknown bands like snot, motograter, 36 crazyfists, cold, no-one and dry cell

Really defines nu-metal which is mixing several genres with metal

This is not a nu metal band period.

54 Primer 55 Primer 55 Primer 55 is an American nu metal band from Louisville, Kentucky, United States. The name originates from the combination of Primer, meaning "something that's unfinished," and 55, which refers to Interstate 55, "the road that drugs run on to get to Chicago through Memphis".

Rapish Metal has its own taste and own sound with a hard hitting ear crushing guitar boomers

Way too low, one of my favorite bands in high school. Unique fresh sound. And heavy.

Very iconic sound and talented vocalist that redefines what nu metal should sound like.

Good band´┐Ż"should be WAY higher on this list

Probably the most underrated music artist ever. Bobby Reeves is amazing as the vocalist. He even managed to save Adema single handedly when he joined them. Shame they released only one album.

Best unknown band ever a must must listen to
