The Contenders: Page 2
My second favorite Pink Floyd song, but I voted for it because Comfortably Numb is already No. 1. great song, love the guitar's sound.
I love other Pink Floyd songs but this is my current favourite. It is very uplifting and I love every bit of it!
This is my favourite (although I love other Pink Floyd songs). My favourite version is their Pulse one - HollyRolo

The most epic song by Pinky Floyd in my opinion. It's a progressive classics. Something like Shostakovic but 40 years later.
If you haven't listened yet to this masterpiece, do yourself a favor and do it right now. It's one of the greatest compositions ever made. Silence in the studio!
Even though this song is underrated and it didn't turn out good for Floyd, the riffs and sound gives you somewhat a sensation.
How this song is not at least amongst the top 10 is beyond me. Sure they've made better songs, but this is one of those experimental, unique, rebellious songs that could have only been made by PF. HauntingV 14 Comments
It pains me that this masterpiece is not appreciated as much as it should be. This is the best song on The Dark Side Of The Moon. It is short; but it is so powerful, the meaning, the ambience it installs; it didn't need to be long at all. Listen to the Gilmour acoustic version. It's magical. The keyboards, the base lines, the guitar in the background and Gilmour's magical voice blend together perfectly; forming one of the best songs in history. The most underrated song in history of music. It's a crime that this song is 24th in this list. It's a crime that people think another brick in the wall is better than this masterpiece.
27th!? I thought this would be in the top 5
This is an awesome song! The only issue is it s way too small.. Can listen to this one for hours!
22? This song is top 5 material - KurtCocainV 19 Comments
Needs to be higher. Once you completely understand The Wall, this should become one of your favorite songs on the album. - tjexler
This is one of most creative songs ever made, really special really underrated
"The Trial" was one of my favorite songs and this deserves to be on the top 7 on the list. Please vote this one!
Just five minutes worm your honor, him, me, ALONE! - GreenRyanV 11 Comments
Everything about this song is excellent: lyrics, intro, the bridge, the chorus. It soars!
Is it truly only a dream that there will be no more turning away? I don't want our world to be like that. I really think more people need to hear this song. It's amazing it slowly builds up for the whole song and ends with and incredible solo.
This song has a powerful message of not ignoring the terrible things going on around you. Plus, the choir in the background makes it so beautiful.
Underrated powerful song. Should be in top ten and on every Floyd compilation.V 10 Comments
Syd Barrett Forever
David Gilmour Does It Well Too.
I really do not understand how the hell is this masterpiece so low on the list. And yeah I've also noticed that there's no Syd Barett song in the top ten. I really can't make head or tail of this. Astronomy domine is a song that surely takes one on a space trip.
Very underrated song. The name doesn't lie - most cosmic song ever.
Only #26? This is the greatest masterpiece they have ever made. Syd Barrett at his finest. Although the stuff above is still good, nothing compares to how incredible and psychedelic this song is. Sad how it is only #26...
Wow, the whole song is amazing, but the guitar solo in the last two minutes or so is phenomenal. I can't describe how good it is. Also, in general, the lyrics in this song are not only really thoughtful and critical of people, but I just love the way Waters says some of the words. I don't really know how to describe it, but his voice makes every word he sings sound perfect. Great song, and it's pretty underrated too, since it's always overshadowed by the other two long songs on Animals (which are amazing also).
One of the most hardest rocking songs in the bands catalogue. Its unrelenting sonic attack makes it one of the greatest punk songs out there. A perfect jewel of ten minuts of pure tranquil adrenaline
Very haunting song, great keyboard intro
Putting “Mother” ahead of Sheep is a disgrace to society... this is THE best PInk Floyd song and one of the best Prog/hard rock songs ever made!V 17 Comments
Hello, this is TheTopTens calling. Are we reaching the logical part of your brain that keeps telling you to vote for this song [click] See, they hung up. And it's a stupid part of their brain answering.
Oooh, I Need A Dirty Woman
Best Solo Ever
It appears in 'The Wall'. Distinctive, raw hard rock sound, that stands out among Pink Floyd's few pieces in that genre.
Great songV 1 Comment
This is a great psychedelic song that is well over 11 minutes. It has really wacky guitar and an awesome ending. This is a perfect song for Halloween or if you are spaced out. Although there are no spoken words, the instruments make up for that.
Amazing mix of instruments with David's wailing vocals at the end is breathtaking and enchanting.
This is their best song pre-dark side along with echoes, and one of their best in the entire discography.
The live at pompeii version is mindblowning. The celestial voices is PF'S best instrumentalV 2 Comments
The piano fill is completely amazing plus there would be no Floyd without Syd barret
An iconic Pink Floyd Song, Should be top 10
My favourite short Pink Floyd song. - malamJONES
33... No non no I think it mean no. 3.
This songs is = awesome should be in top 3 - Toucan
This is y far my favorite Pink Floyd song. I can't believe it is number 47. It deserves to be in the top 5 at least.Starts with deliberate slow drumbeats, the thudding is then accompanied by beautiful electric guitar that puts you in a trance, the music then practically stops when the amazing lyrics begin, which are made even more beautiful by the wonderful vocals. This song is brilliant.
I love this song, and it is incredibly underrated. The guitar in it sounds great, and I really like the lyrics.
I don't think it's the best, but how can it be 45? It deserves al least top 15
Great music and lyrics. Among the best.V 3 Comments
Morons it should be in top 5 all those disagreeing should go back to music school and should start with justin bieber
For real? What do you have against Justin Bieber other then that he's a musical genius?
This song should be up there at 1 or 2 or 3... simply brilliant it doesn't get any more peaceful :)Ditto for Us and Them!
This song should be in top ten list... It is such a soothing song which calms your mind and melodious
Such a beautiful song...must be in the top 10V 150 Comments
Maybe it can be one of my best Pink Floyd songs but I don't mean this song as my number one favorite song, it can possibly be an underrated song according to the Pink Floyd fans.
I'm not a fan of this one. Happiest Days of Our Lives should be up where this one is.
I don't need no arms around me
Another brick in the wall 1,2,3!
P-S-Y-C-H-E-D-E-L-I-C. There are so many people who can't feel the magic of this kind of music. This is an amazing song.
Disheartened to see this piece so low down the list. One has to listen to it in order to appreciate it. Words cannot describe the place this song takes you to. Just concentrate on the music and one would leave any sort of surroundings in no time.
This is by far my favourite Pink Floyd songs. Give it a try, it's fantastic.
This is the only song with all five Pink Floyd members. There isn't a more genuine Pink Floyd song.V 6 Comments
I never really thought much of the Syd Barrett era. I just think it isn't as good as the Waters albums (Dark Side, The Wall, Wish You Were Here etc.). This song, in my opinion is the best song from that era. It starts off with an awesome guitar intro, then falls into psychedelic chaos as the song progresses. This song made me appreciate Piper At the Gates of Dawn a lot more than I did at the time.
This is SO much better than Comfortably Numb or Another Brick In The Wall, in my opinion. And the live version is even better!
One of the best song ever made!
You can't beat Barret😀V 5 Comments
A Very underrated song but one of their finest work. This should be at least at 12 or 13. One of my favourite song.
This has been my go-to song whenever I need courage and fortitude over the past twenty years. I walked "down the aisle" to this when I was married. This may not be their greatest in every way, but it deserves much credit for capturing a moment, a mood; that essence of calm and acceptance.
This is an amazing song and so much better than any song on Momentary Lapse of Reason, the Division Bell, the Final Cut, and the Wall.
An underrated chill masterpieceV 11 Comments
Oh my goodness it is my favorite pink floyd song!
Might be a bit too catchy - connormouat
It's pretty edgy.
That Syd's something I can't explain!
Pretty nice song in my opinion, my third favourite from 'Piper'.
This is one of my favorite Floyd songs, it's very reminiscent of heavy metal, with a bit of grunge. Easily the best song from More.
I think this is my favorite Floyd song. Not joking. - JCHOW
I can't believe it. The best song from More is 106?
Easily top 30.V 2 Comments
Not even in the top 10? We have to fix that! Please get this into at least the top 20, it is one of the best in like ever! It should be right there with another brick in the wall, comfortably numb, time, money, you name it!
Definitely agree with that statement. Should really be in the top 10, it's a short song but reminds me of tunes like comfortably numb and hey you.
Makes you feel so much unconventional emotions and intensity : passing from fear to joy to fear to joy... Short but we wouldn't need more.
I thought this list was good, but Goodbye Blue sky at 125, that's bad it should be more like number 25.V 6 Comments
This is on the bottom!? This song is perfect, definitely the best Pink Floyd song in my opinion
This one should had been in the top 20s at least
