What If Franklin Delano Roosevelt Was Never Elected President

2storm (Note this whole post is just a scenario. None of this really happened, so that means I may have put some stuff that was a bit of a reach. Just don't overreact about it and you'll be fine.)
Franklin Delano Roosevelt, otherwise known as FDR is known as one of the best presidents of all-time. He spurred the American Economy, he led us through one of the worst wars in history, and he made tons of motivational speeches. But what if he was never elected president? How would America change? How would the world change?

What If FDR Was Never Elected President
Well we would have to go back to the year 1932. For the sake of this post we will imagine FDR just wasn't into politics. America is in shambles at the moment because of the Great Depression starting in the late 20's. On the Republican side of the 1932 election we have Herbert Hoover, who America currently dislikes as many Americans blame him for the Depression. On the Democrat side we have a ticket of Al Smith with John Nance Garner as his Vice. The Democrats end up winning in a tight race. Al Smith becomes the 32nd President of the United States. Smith was a leading opposition leader to the New Deal, meaning Smith would just try to build the economy the same way. This would lead to more disaster and another collapse of the economy. In the 1936 election, Smith and Garner run relatively unopposed in the Primaries. On the Republican side, Alf Landon, a governor from Kansas, and Frank Knox, a publisher, run and end up winning by a large margin. Alf Landon begins to reform the economy quickly in a way very similar to the New Deal except without as much government dependency. The people love Alf Landon. In these years a threat emerges in the East. Hitler was starting to rise up and Alf Landon notices it and picks Wendell Willkie, a lawyer. Willkie was very supportive of helping Great Britan. Alf Landon and Wendell Willkie destroy the Democratic ticket of James Farley and John Nance Garner. The addition of Willkie would prove major in the war as Willkie pushed American involvement. The British and American Forces were able to take France back over by 1943. America and Britan were also a little more worried about Japan, so they plan for a Japanese attack. That means Japan does not become a world power after the combined Chinese, American, and British forces drive Japan out of China and Korea. Germany was eventually defeated in 1944 ending WW2. In the 1944 election, for the Republicans Wendell Willkie was set to be the favorite, but he unfortunately dies in 1944 leading to Thomas E. Dewey taking control of the party. The Democrats had a tight race between Harry S. Truman and Harry F. Byrd, a pro-segregationist. Due to Truman being very unknown Harry Byrd wins the primary, but he does make Truman his Vice-President. In the Election, Thomas E. Dewey and vice Douglass MacArthur (Yes he was not in Asia at the time because Japan was no long in the war.) become presidents. Thomas E. Dewey becomes the 34th President. Dewey and MacArthur were very very aggressive on communism bringing a war to Japan in 1946 on whether Japan would become communists because Japan was never technically defeated, America had no reason to watch Japan and that is why it fell to Communism. In the 1948 Election, Truman and Alben W. Barkley defeat Dewey and MacArthur due to the fact the Japanese war had lasted so long. Truman then becomes the 35th president. Even though Truman takes office the war still continues and it goes past his presidency destroying our economy once again. Dwight D. Eisenhower and Richard Nixon end up blowing out Truman and Barkley in the 1952 election. Eisenhower eventually ends the Japanese war in 1954 with an American win, but this war left enormous scars around the world and multiple atomic bombs were dropped. In 1956 Eisenhower decides not to run again due to the fact he just ended a 8 year long war and Nixon becomes the favorite and he picks Christian Herter to be his running mate. Nixon ends up becoming the 37th president in a landslide. In the next few years he starts to mend the relationship between the Soviet Union and the United States. Nixon becomes very popular and he again picks Christian Herter and they win the 1960 election against John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson. In the 1964 election a big shift in the Republican Party happens. Nelson Rockefeller and Barry Goldwater split the party and created two different parties. Rockefeller created the Liberal Republican Party and Goldwater stayed with the Republican Party. This led to an easy victory for John F. Kennedy and his brother Robert Kennedy (Neither ended up getting shot.) Then in the 1968 Election John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy again beat a wounded Conservative wing led by Ronald Reagan and William Romney for the Republicans and Nelson Rockefeller and Winthrop Rockefeller for the Liberal Republican Party. Then in the 1972 Election Nelson Rockefeller and Winthrop Rockefeller decided to merge with the Republican Party and they won the election against George McGovern and Sargent Shriver. The Rockfellers would make a vital mistake though in 1975 when they were caught stealing money from the U.S. Treasury. This got them immediately impeached and in the 1976 Election Jimmy Carter and Walter Mondale beat Gerald Ford and Bob Dole. Jimmy Carter spread a peace movement that eventually failed epically leading the way to my favorite president Ronald Reagan. About everything from here on is about the same.

Conclusion
So what happens if FDR isn't elected? Is it better or worse? You tell me what you think and if their are any What Ifs you want me to do just tell me or if you are interested in a collab I am always willing.
