41 Hall of the Mountain King - Savatage

Savatage is the best... And I don't know why there really not so famous, and some people barely heard of them, there solos and lyrics and music is divine!

42 From Mars to Sirius - Gojira

Fantastic album! It's a solid listen all the way through, as soon as you hear "Ocean Planet" kick in you know you're in for a ride.

Simply an amazing album from the French progressive band Gojira. Take a listen if you haven't yet, it will blow your mind!

43 Language - The Contortionist
44 Dimension Hatross - Voivod

Are you kidding me? These youngsters don't seem to know Voivod. This is certainly their best album; it's Motorhead meets Pink Floyd on bath salts, and I'm not talking about the kind your mom uses! Listen to Tribal Convictions.

45 Permanent Waves - Rush

Rush aren't metal.

46 Crimson - Edge of Sanity
47 Transcendence - Crimson Glory

What?! It's one of the best! Top 10!

Very Underrated!

48 Crimson Glory - Crimson Glory
49 Autotheism - The Faceless
50 Citadel - Ne Obliviscaris

Deranged Aussie progressive act. Watch this space.

51 Polaris - Tesseract
52 Mezmerize - System of a Down
53 Fear of a Blank Planet - Porcupine Tree

A Underrated masterpiece, deserves to be higher. Definitely deserves

Best album of Porcupine Tree

54 Leviathan - Mastodon

Yes, this is the only one of theirs I own - for now - and it was a unique listen. Particularly as they wander off into borderline instrumentals mid-track. I did find the vocals a little harsh, though.

55 Enigmatic: Calling - Pagan's Mind

Enigmatic Mission and Supremacy, our kind are songs to check out if this is your thing

56 The Book of Souls - Iron Maiden
57 Iconoclast - Symphony X
58 A Matter of Life and Death - Iron Maiden
59 Mercy Falls - Seventh Wonder

This is the greatest album ever!

In my opinion #2 concept album of all time second to only DT's SFAM, this should be way higher on the list. SW is such an incredible band that deserves so much more attention and recognition in the prog metal world than they get. It's unbelievable how many times at a DT concert I've asked tons of DT fans "ever heard of Seventh Wonder? " And sadly the response is always "no, never heard of them" please check this band out if you've never heard them before.
