Best Retail Stores

The Top Ten
1 Target Target Corporation is the second-largest discount store retailer in the United States, behind Walmart, and a component of the S&P 500 Index.

Target offers a greater variety of items than Walmart. For example, around Halloween, Walmart usually has only one or two aisles dedicated to costumes. In contrast, Target dedicates about one-fourth of the store to Halloween costumes, decorations, and candy. Walmart simply can't compare to Target. The clothing at Target is also superior, featuring cool designs and high-quality materials.

Additionally, Target has a more extensive food section than Walmart. The toy selection is much richer at Target, while Walmart tends to stock only basic items. What I'm saying is that Target is an overachieving company and store, whereas Walmart falls short in comparison. I'm not hating on Walmart, though. Personally, the closest Target to my location is 30 minutes away, and our nearest retail store is Walmart. Walmart is still okay, but I feel like it could do more. Nonetheless, Walmart is our go-to store and likely always will be, but Target is generally a much better store.

2 Wal-Mart

Sometime in the past, I recall watching the Rollback commercials on TV with Walmart's slogan: "Always Low Prices. Always." In the present, Walmart recently released the commercials "Ring My Bell" and another featuring famous cars from pop culture references. Yes, Walmart is one of the most profitable corporations, along with Amazon, Nike, Google, Microsoft, Apple, Ford, Toyota, Boeing, Pepsi, Budweiser, and McDonald's. The list goes on. Congratulations, Walmart. Consumers can't stop buying groceries and electronics in a materialistic world.

3 Best Buy

Best Buy is good.

4 GameStop
5 IKEA IKEA is a Swedish multinational group with its headquarters in Delft, Netherlands. Since 2008, IKEA has been the world's largest furniture retailer.
6 Barnes And Noble
7 K-Mart

One of the oldest stores ever! It's sad they are going out of business. I'm going to do everything I can to keep them around. They offer better prices, and in my opinion, are far superior to stores like Target and Walmart.

So underrated. At least half better than Walmart.

Hardly any exist anymore heard all their stores are closing and goong out of business in 2017
