Top 10 Best Scooby Doo Shows of All-Time

The Top Ten
1 Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! is the first incarnation of the long-running Hanna-Barbera Saturday morning cartoon series Scooby-Doo.

This is the only great Scooby Doo. The rest are mostly fine (some of them are just awful). I love how many great lines they give to Shaggy, because it just makes this goofy show even funnier.

This is my favorite Scooby doo show along with what's new scooby doo. Shaggy is hilarious in this one, and the original monsters are way better than the other 70's and 80's shows.

This one and The Scooby Doo show were close to the best Scooby Doo series ever. Do not vote for Shaggy and Scooby Doo get a clue. That show stinks majorly

2 Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated

Man, I'm thinking about binge-watching Season 1 all over again and trying to start and finish Season 2 like I should have. For a Scooby-Doo! show, this installment truly sets the darkest tone of any series yet! The show's serialized plot makes for quite the coherent continuity, to say the least. The new refined and edgy animation and the epic theme song really spooked things up for me that I just had to tune in to every new episode during its original run of the first season! It's no wonder some people call it the original Gravity Falls.

3 What's New, Scooby-Doo? What's New, Scooby-Doo? is the ninth incarnation of the Hanna-Barbera Saturday morning cartoon franchise Scooby-Doo and originally ran from 2002- 2006. The theme song was created by the band Simple Plan.

What's new scooby doo is probably the most successful and well done reboot of an old franchise ever. It's updated and modern, but it still feels like scooby doo, and doesn't at all come off as forced. A great series that successfully ressurected scooby doo and brought it to the 21st century. A tie for best series with Where are You.

This show definitely helped revive the series. Added a modern taste while still being faithful to the original. And to make things even better, the theme song is by Simple Plan, one of my favorite bands.

4 The Scooby-Doo Show

A really tough one here guys, but I figured since I grew up watching this one, and, besides, this has more episodes than Scooby-Doo Where Are You. This HAS to be at least No. 3.

I literally just watched a Scooby doo show episode 2 seconds ago. It was on Boomerang, the one with that no faced zombie and the big gorilla? You know that one?

Amazing. Even though it was the second Scooby-Doo show out, it is amazing. Really engaging plots and it actually is one of the only Scooby-Doo shows that make you think-Who's the villan?

5 The New Scooby-Doo Movies

Loved the theme song and was always excited to see who the guests were. I'd love it if The Adams Family or Batman and Robin appeared, but I'd be dissapointed if it was someone I never heard of like Jerry Van Dyke. This show is also where we kids would have first gotten to know the likes of Don Knotts and Phyllis Diller. Great fun

This deserves to be higher than "What's New Scooby Doo," because the monsters of "What's New Scooby Doo" are horrible. I love the original from the 60's and 70's.

The hour long plot and celebrity characters made it worth watching. Definitely my favorite.

6 A Pup Named Scooby-Doo

I grew up with this show the most, so I'd say this one.

One of the best Scooby Doo shows ever!

This what a cute, but strange show.

7 The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo

An utterly unique and refreshing entry, this was the first story driven Scooby show and a fantastic addition to the franchise as a whole. Wish there was more.

Apparently Fred and Velma were both at summer camp.

8 The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries

The Addams family episodes were great!

9 Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo
10 Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!

I really love this show. Not so much the animation, but the humor and music is top notch! I usually just watch Scooby-Doo for monsters, but I really watch this just for the laughs every time I watch an episode. Great cartoon that I thoroughly enjoy every episode of! I recommend this to anyone who is willing to get past the animation and see how awesome it is, the humor, music, monsters, and silly but passable atmosphere. I also love the running gags in this show, especially Daphne's hilarious hijinks. Also, stop complaining about the animation. No one likes it, but at least it is not as bad as The Problem Solverz!...MeoMeo

The Contenders
11 Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue!

Am I the only one that found this OK well I like a lot of the Scooby Doo Shows so yeah.

12 Scooby's All-Star Laff-A-Lympics

This was the Mario All Stars (The T.V. show not the game Super Mario All Stars though they are similar) of the franchise where it was a compilation though unlike Mario All Stars this was more than one franchise (Captian Caveman, Laff A Lympics, Scooby Doo Where are You and, Blue Falcon and Dynomutt.)

13 Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?
14 Lego Scooby-Doo! Knight Time Terror
15 Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (shorts)

Honestly, this show is one of my favorites. True, the visuals are about what you'd expect from an 80's animation show, true, the stories are seven minutes long, and TRUE, Fred, Daphne, and Velma are nowhere to be seen. But guess what? It's entertaining. The characters are dumped into a situation (Which can get very, very, very, very weird, but I'm not complaining!) And then just run around and react to it. With the original Scooby mysteries, because you just constantly had to shove the characters into some sort of haunted thing (And this was done very, very, awkwardly). This series just took a bunch of really wild ideas, and worked with them! Let me tell you about my favorite episode, Punk Rock Scooby: So Shaggy and Scooby go to a punk rock concert, and everyone has these really funky wigs and stuff, and Scrappy has a devo hat on. And so then this alien comes and looks exactly like Scrappy if he were wearing a devo hat. He assumes that Scrappy's been kidnapped by the "earthlings," and chase them around, with a weapon that makes inanimate objects animate attackers. They end up onstage and begin playing horribly, then begin being chased by said inanimate objects. Being chased by said objects makes them play well by accident, so they win the competition. At this point it's finally cleared up that Scrappy is NOT an kidnapped plutonian, that Shaggy and Scooby are just his friend and uncle respectively. The alien is mollified, but now he wants an uncle too. So what does he do? Steals their trophy, shoots his beam at it, and makes the trophy to come to life. As the alien flies off, we zoom in on the trophy, which proclaims, "Scooby-Dooby-Doo! "

See? See what I mean? It's ridiculous how ridiculous this show gets, but I LOVE IT. I just love how it's trippy and innocent at the same time. That's the draw-it's like Scooby was like, "Wait, I'm a cartoon, ain't no rule that the monsters can't be real! " Some episodes do have that "Shaggy... more
