She can hit notes pretty high she has a very soulful voice and melody.

She has an extremely soulful voice, and can sing high pretty well, but no that well. It's something else that captures the person who's listening. We are all beautiful.

Xtina is the queen! Anastasia could never beat her. Mariah is my second favorite, but neither artist could compare to my lovely beautiful bb Christina Aguilera! I've loved her since I was seven, and my love for her had stayed with me as life goes on. She is a phenomenon, a generation of music itself. Christina can sing anything. An angel is not enough to describe her voice. Some people hate her rasp, but I think it just makes her sound even more powerful. My dream is to meet her and/or do a duet with her. She's my idol, a very strong voice. Christina, I know you're probably not reading this, but if you are, I love you and you are my favorite, my inspiration. I will stand by you till the end of time, support you. I believe you are better than Whitney, Celine, Mariah, and Martina combined. Your voice is so soulful and amazing. It makes the hair on my spine prickle and stand erect. Team Xtina forever, you Suberb 4 octave singer! ~Jenna

I love your high note on beautiful and Ain't no other man ain't no other man give me I am in love boys talk about boys

22 Morten Harket Morten Harket Morten Harket is a Norwegian musician, best known as the lead singer of the synthpop/rock band A-ha, which released ten studio albums and topped the charts internationally after their breakthrough hit "Take on Me" in 1985.

Great range of voice!

Have you ever tried to reach those high notes in "Take On Me" or "Summer Moved On"?

Having had the pleasure of hearing this man sing live with a-ha and as a solo artist, I have to say no-one comes close to his voice. Gives me goosebumps. The man is a gent too. After years of trying to meet him, I finally managed it in the pouring rain after a concert in Manchester. He only left after everyone had met him and got photos and autographs. All that and we were all soaked but buzzing and floating down the road back to the hotel. Never forget that moment.

Holds the record for the longest note held over 22 secs Summer Moved On he still hits the high notes over 31 years since Take On Me. Still touring and sounds better than ever no voice compares! Unique!

I honestly don't know how Freddie is so low on the scale. He should be number one. I bet I'm going to get people saying "Oh you're just old! Get with the times" I'm only 14 and I know he is amazing and is deserving of the number one spot"

It still gives me chills to listen to him sing-he is hands down the best vocalist who has ever lived.

Really? He beats all of these guys and this makes no sense he beats Michael and Mariah Carey

He can sing high and low. He can sing in any genres. He was a legend.

His theatrical voice is to die for! He has a spectacular range for a male voice and is an extremely versatile singer (as is his band Panic! At The Disco) and he always impresses with what new music he performs. I heard him live this past summer at a free concert in my hometown and it may have been hands down the greatest show I ever saw. This mans voice is truly magical. Just listen to his music, it speaks for itself.

Brendon urges vocal range is beyond AMAZING and I'm not just saying it because he's my favorite celebrity I'm saying it because for a guy he hits extremely high notes as well as the low notes I can even hit them for example in the song Death of a bachelor me and my friends try so hard to hit the low notes of his song

His voice is simply amazing, he has perfect range and has perfect tone and great singing technique. Also has an amazing and unique band.

Nice placing

25 Demi Lovato Demi Lovato

I truly believe she's one of the best in her generation. Her vocal range is absolutely impressive. What I really like about her is that not only she can hit amazing high notes but also make the song extremely emotional. She's a true artist, the one that is able to make you feel the message that's being sent trough the song. That's what a good vocalist is supposed to do! Hands down to this flawless artist. She's one to keep an eye on. I wouldn't be any surprised if the turns out to be the next Whitney Houston within some years. This girl should be at the number 1 position!

Demi is the best singer I've ever heard! Her vocals are amazing! Plus she can emote and make me feel what she's feeling. She gives me chills

I think Demi is an AMAZING singer and she is by far the greatest!

I really love her voice, she has the most flexible, strong and beautiful voice I ever heard of all my life.
continued vibrating like this you rock...

Listen to his song "Breathless"
I bet you will vote for him after you here the song!

He made one of the best songs I have ever listened (you are not alone )

I think he hits F#5 in Breathless, which is extremely good for a male vocalist... Not better than me though because I can hit G5 with great ease and I can hit Bb5 bye

27 Sandi Patty

Are you kidding? Sandi Patty is the greatest soprano and female artist who has the highest notes I've ever heard. Her vocal range was over 4 octaves and her version of The Star Spangled Banner put her on the map in the secular world'! Just when u think she couldn't get any higher she does! Her voice is magnificent and supernatural! She is a legend in Christian music and has won 40 Dove Awards and 5 Grammys. Performed before 5 presidents and on national television. She has been dubbed "The Voice" because of her powerful voice and her legendary ballads that end with magnificent Sandi Patty high notes that only Sandi can do! - Jimhensley69

She has the most amazing voice. I would say the best in the world

28 Yma Sumac Yma Sumac
29 Minnie Riperton

Her octaves (has publicly hit 7 octave and some have said 8 octave) are consistently higher than Carrey's and she had more control. Carrey is a studio singer who is helped by audio engineering. Her live performances are scratchy and much lower in the 4 octave range. Call Rippertons note a whistle note (maybe you are referring to 'Loving You"), but it's a note and it's clear.

She may be gone, but she has a lovely voice.

Smooth in that range. That's tough

Tis pole is inaccurate mainly because Minnie Ripperton should OBVIOUSLY be #1 in this category. There was no singer EVER! who hit higher notes or had a wider range than Minnie Ripperton(5-7 octaves)
Not only does she have approximately 2-3 more octaves than Mariah, but she hits higher notes than her and everybody on this list...with ease!, and she does it live! She also quite obviously its higher notes than Zayn, but she also hits lower notes than mim as well. pnest, Minnie Ripperton is #1 in the category, I'm sure the other singers on this list will hands down agree as well

Her voice spans 4 octaves and she can reach very high notes.

Fantastic

31 Shanice Shanice Shanice Lorraine Wilson-Knox, better known as Shanice, is a Grammy-nominated American R&B/pop-rock singer, songwriter, and actress.

Her high notes are much better than the high notes of Mariah carey, I actually find Mariah's high notes very annoying which is something I would never say about Shanice. Shanice's voice is so beautiful, unlike Mariah's. - DaWyteNight

Lovin You she hits the thing

32 Jennifer Hudson Jennifer Hudson Jennifer Kate Hudson is an American singer, actress and spokesperson. She rose to fame in 2004 as a finalist on the third season of American Idol, coming in seventh place.

Wow I cannot believe jennifer hudson was number 31 =0 she has such a powerful voice and she sings higher notes than beyonce she is honestly my inspiration.

Jennifer Hudson voice is amazing. She has great pitch control and should be in the top ten.

Jennifer has a very strong voice which maintains its power at very high notes.

33 Michael Kiske Michael Kiske Michael Kiske is a singer best known as the former lead vocalist for the German power metal band Helloween.

He has the best vocal range I've ever heard. If you don't believe me, listen to "Eagle Fly Free" by Helloween - ryanrimmel

I really hate seeing autotuned pop singers way higher than true vocal talents and masters, like M. Kiske. Wake up people! - Metal_Treasure

34 Ignazio Boschetto

Lyric tenor,1/3 of il vollo, handsome, Italian, funny, 19 years old, can break glass, you name it he's got it!

35 Kate Bush Kate Bush

How is Kate Bush not in the top ten? Listen to songs like "Wow," "Wuthering Heights," "The Wedding List," and "Violin." She can sing HIGH!

No idea how she wasn't already in this list.. just listen to Wuthering Heights!

She should be number 1 in my opinion. Listen to Rockets tail or especiallly Wuthering Heights and you will understand. The people in the top 10 in list list doesn't make sense because most of them use autotune. Kate bushs career was mostly 70's, 80's and 90's, so autotune wasnt a thing. Her voice was at its highest in the 70's though. - Doom

36 Maeve Ni Mhaolchatha
37 Lea Michele Lea Michele

She's the most powerful woman I've ever seen... Because she knows how to use her talent, her voice is awesome.

She is amazing, your control is amazing, she's have a Eb6...
