The Top Ten
An amazing resort everyone should visit, so much to explore and great snow. - MH2k16
A resort that ticks all the boxes, having the biggest fully-interlinked ski area in Austria, having been voted 'Best Austrian Ski Resort' by DSV Aktiv magazine of Germany, 'Best European Resort Development' by 'Where to Ski & Snowboard', 5 Star Apres-ski Resort by ADAC Ski Atlas, etc, etc. Combines beautiful scenery with village charm, friendly locals and a good, reliable, ski-convenient area. Has also been named by The Daily Telegraph as the best resort for intermediate skiers - and the apres-ski fun is legendary!
Everything you would want from a ski area. May be a bit light on the off piste but otherwise excellent.
Watch out for the bearded women!
As of December 2015 it's linked to Fieberbrunn, adding 70km of piste and some great freeride terrain and (with 270km of piste in total) making it the biggest interlinked ski area in Austria - ticks all the boxes!V 3 Comments
