The Top Ten
very inspiring song, by a genius rapper, I like this song very much it deserves to be in the top 10
This song should be number One it is so inspiring when I feel like giving up I listen to it... I feel like I can do anything!

Its eminem that should be a godo enough descriptionV 25 Comments
Ugh! Amazing! This is one of those songs that you could never get tired of listening too, and congrats on the Grammy awards for Best Song of 2008 and Best Rock Album! Viva la Vida definitely deserves it, no doubt!
This song deserves the top place. Coldplay really knew what they were doing when they wrote this.
I like this song, but The Scientist will always be my favorite. Great lyrics.
It's so goodV 14 Comments
I can name SEVERAL songs Evanescence made in this decade that are far more deserving of this spot than this. - DCfnaf
I love it very much so does. My brother Spencer holliman and my name is Sara Elizabeth holliman.I am Spencer holliman's sister my sister does too and her name is Hadley Grace holliman.
Personally, I voted for Viva La Vida, but this song is just as amazing (well, it's tough to say). Amy Lee is one of the best voices out there, and this song really demonstrates her vocal talents (though not quite as much as My Immortal, that's arguably her best song). Even so, this song is beautiful and it's a shame that nobody bothered to comment on it. Oh, and it's really bloody epic, too!
This song proves anyone who thinks the only people who listen to Eminem are drugged-up whiteys don't understand rap. Rap is an art. Art is constantly developing. YES, Nas, Pac, Big, Rakim, NWA, and Public Enemy came before him. But he took rap to a level past anyone else. One of the greatest songs off of one of the greatest albums. Argument over.
This superb song is about the conversation of Eminem's fan (Stan) and Eminem! The lyrics are awesome!
The Dido sample and the lyrics are some of the greatest of all time.
I like Eminem and I'm not a fan of Lose Yourself. This is good. I make anti-Eminem comments because of his fanbase. In reality, I like him - 445956V 3 Comments
This is one of the best bands of the 2000s and this is there break through single. They basically brought back garage rock into the rock mainstream
I used to hate rock. But after I listened to this, my whole perspective was changed.
Simple but amazing. Seriously I can play this song behind my back while sitting down but I get more feel from it that songs like "Smooth", "Everlong" and "Californication(which is also very simple).
Yes I am still listening to most of these songs in 2012 as well.. These songs are way better than the stuff they produce now-a-days.. In the end has got to be the one I have listened to the most.. But I wish I could vote for multiple songs! And what the hell is ke$ha doing on this list?!
Now I know that this list is crap cause this song is better than most of the songs on here. And why isn't lose yourself number 1
Should be above boulevard of broken dreams
This should be one this is a masterpiece from linkin ParkV 3 Comments
Heard in Soundtrack to Ella Enchanted (2004). - playstationfan66
1 2 3 uh!
beyonce is definitely the hottest and most talked about singer in the decade, I chose this song cause I simply fell crazy in love with her because of it, she is a queen in her category
I love this song and I love beyonce that's just how it gotta be
You are joking, right? Why is this in the top 10? This the worst song to hit #1 on Billboard Hot 100 that decade! - SelfDestruct
Also this is coming from the guy who added all of the Adele songs to the top ten worst songs of 2015 - Hater
This should be the top1.. This song never gets old
Such an amazing song, should be higher up.
Best hit song of all time.
Best hit song of all time, why isn't this #1?
When I first heard this song, I thought it was in old song. It sounded like an old R&B song. The music video's awesome too!V 1 Comment
If there's a better song that's been made in the history of music I'm yet to here it. It has everything you could want emotive lyrics awesome guitar solos and a killer video. The fact that beyonce and Eminem are above this is an outrage!
This is my favorite song of Green Day and one of my favorites in general. I feel like this sometimes and it's nice to know I'm not alone. The lyrics and the music are amazing and just the way he sings it is just perfect. This should be in at the very least, top five
Best song EVER in my opinion.
Hey ya top 5? Why? Also seven nation army isn’t even a good song it’s kind of bland with no chorusV 7 Comments
OneRepublic is that band that doesn't get enough credit, the band that sings all the best songs that you never bothered to look up the artist of. Recognize any? Apologize, Secrets, Stop and Stare, All the Right Moves, Feel Again. Those are just a few! OneRepublic is the best band that nobody's heard of, yet everone knows at least one song by.
One of the rare '00s songs that can compete with old classics when it comes to sincerely "beautiful" songs.
I rarely do listen to OR, but it's a memorable song. Still remember the lyrics after 8 years or so. - ArAn
OR are overshadowed by Coldplay (who I also like).V 3 Comments
How did no one really vote for this? IT'S AMAZING - InterneSurfer
An unbelievably crafted song of social commentary written when he was only 16, it is godlike
This song is just amazing!
More like greatest song of all time - PeterG28
The strokes are the best!
Coldplay is so overrated. The Strokes DEFINE music. There's absolutely no competition. period. - PeterG28
THis song has the piano playing to start the song. This song is the highlight of their career. This is the greatest song by them. This is better than Viva La Vida.
It's really frustrating for me to see this above "The Scientist".but it's still a good song though
The piano riff in the beginning is iconic, the lyrics are deep; the song couldn't get any better.
This just slightly beats Viva La Vida as the BEST SONG OF ALL TIME!V 1 Comment

What NUMB at 23? How could it not be at number 1? NUMB at 23 in best song of 2000s is the worst thing about any list in the site
Come on! Why is Numb so down it's the best metal song of 21st century. And like many other songs it never gets old.It is even better than Bring me to life.If you haven't heard it yet please listen you are missing a really great masterpiece.
Sorry, this song defines 2000's music. There was no bigger pop superstars at the decade other than Britney Spears and the Anti-Britney movement princess, Avril Lavigne. This song deserves a spot in the Top Ten. And Avril Lavigne is the best Pop Punk singer/songwriter ever! - Anggun
The landmark of the new decade of pop music. She's the icon. - Anggun
This by far my favorite song of the 2000's. It's so beautifully written and the music video is my favorite of all time. I just love Coldplay.
It's Coldplay's best song, the best piano ballad of the decade. So, it's better than Viva la Vida.
Come on who doesn't love this song? Perfect transition between piano and guitar, and a beautiful song for sure.

Not only is this the best song of the 2000s, It's the best track since Bon Jovi released These Days.
Come on how can this song not be number 1? At least in the top. This song has everything; from a lovely chorus to a catchy bassline with an underlying message that sticks with you for the rest of your life. Combine these with a perfectly timed rap and instrumentals and you have the combination for the best song of not only the 2000's but possibly ever.
Windmill, Windmill, for the land, turn forever, hand in hand..This song is AWESOMEEE! My favorite band, favorite song! This song deserves to be higher!
Best song ever!
Or ya know someone speaking the truth about crooked rich people and politicians send poor people to fight the wars they made
This song sounds like some insane person screaming into a microphone about random crap.
50 cent is one of the best rappers of all time, and with this song, he earned his place in the rap kingdom
Please tell me this is a joke. 50CENT is the blandest, least interesting rapper of what may well be all time. - WonkeyDude98
Sort of song you would hear in British pubs all the time. And for good reason too. This was why they won a Brit Award in 2007.
