Take a ch-ch-chance...

PetSounds Chances are, if you clicked on this post, you either a) are very bored or b) know exactly what I'm going to tell you. If a) is true, you are also about to become very confused. If b) is true, you were expecting a certain cliched line from a certain title song on a certain concept album released on June 1, 1967, and you are about to be very surprised. I am not going to inform you it was twenty years ago today, and correct myself saying no, it was actually seventy-two years ago today.

Now that I've given you all the necessary data without falling into the all-too-familiar trap of quoting bits of song lyrics, you should know exactly what I'm talking about. If, by some miracle, you are still stumped, get your copy of the Beatles' eponymous "White Album", be it on CD, MP3, cassette or vinyl, and play track #18.

Happy Birthday Paul, hope you're getting better all the time and that you're ready to hit the road again soon and rock the USA. And come to Toronto, dammit!

No I was not drunk while writing this.

Happy birthday to you Paul (sorry for the late greeting). And PetSounds, nice unique post! - Kiteretsunu

Thanks, K'sunu. I'd never done one before - my old device couldn't, for reasons unbeknownst - and it is… well, unique, as you say. I get a bit embarrassed when reading it now, to be honest. - PetSounds

Oh, and to Brian Wilson, sorry I missed announcing your b'day on the 20th. - PetSounds
