Best South Korean Movies
I don't see why this is second. This is a completely well thought out, meticulously produced piece of cinema. Anything goes and it does. Plus this director outshines Tarantino with consistently unique films.
If I were to pick the greatest Korean movie of all time, then this would be the answer.
Incredible story. And just when you think it's over, it's not.
How come this film isn't number one?
Taking a new spin on Sergio Leone's classic tale, three Korean expats fight over a Russian treasure map in 1930's Manchuria, and one is not all he seems.
Colourful, action packed and hugely entertaining despite a disappointing ending, with great performances, especially from Song Kang-ho as pudgy, plucky Yoon Tae-goo, "The Weird".
The film has a better villain than the original; Park Chang-yi has more character than Angel Eyes.
It was the best movie I have ever watched, so touching
Simply the best sad movie, Kim so Hyun did an amazing job here, pretending to be retarded being a spy in real life and more intelligent than the average person. Just brilliant.
