Best Sport Teams of the 1980s

The Top Ten
1 San Francisco 49ers The San Francisco 49ers are a professional American football team located in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Of all the 49ers teams that we're great, I picked the 1984 team, because this team had the total package and we're one year away from drafting the GOAT Jerry Rice. They had 9 NFL ALL-Pros and 10 players palyed in the Pro Bowl: Joe Montana, Wendell Tyler, Keith Fahnhorst, Randy Cross, Fred Quillan, Keena Turner, Eric Wright, Ronnie Lott, Carlton Williamson and Dwight Freeney. 15 wins, 3 big playoff wins and that Super Bowl XIX win over Dan Marino's one dimensional Miami Dolphins. Truly a Super Team.

16 Florida St. Seminoles Football

I pick this team because of their frequent bowl game appearances beginning in 1982, that year they won 10 games and I called it the BEST Florida State Seminole team of this decade because they have arrived as one of the elite teams in College Football. Their offense was led by ALL-American Greg Allen who in 3 separate games rushed for 100 yards or more, while his partner Ricky Williams (no relation to the 1998 Heisman Trophy Winner) himself rushed for 100 yards or more in 2 games. Truly a great team who beat Ohio State, South Carolina and in the Gator Bowl beat West Virginia.
