Safe & Sound

This shouldn't be 15th. Safe and Sound is a haunting, beautiful song with more soul and emotion than any other Taylor Swift song. The lyrics tell a haunting story of a life during the hunger games but can also be interpreted as a tragic lullabye to a dying loved one. Its peaceful and melodic sound, coupled with its beautiful music video and deep lyrics makes it by far the best Taylor Swift song out there. I want this song to be played at my funeral. I love it that much.

This is the best song ever, I swear. I have to listen to it at least once a day. It's one of the only songs that I know that make me feel somewhat emotional; I've come close to crying many a time while listening. I'm convinced that this is not only Taylor's best song, but possibly the best song ever.

I LOVE this song because its just so deep. The notes are beautiful and the lyrics make me want to cry... "Hold on to this lullaby.. Even when the musics gone.. " It's my favorite song of hers.. Its going to sound SO gorgeous in the hunger games! If you've heard it you know what I'm talking about! If you haven't heard it? GO HEAR IT NOW! You don't know what you're missing!

I used to listen to this song on loops to sleep years and years ago. It offered the only comfort during those dark, dark days, weeks, you name it. Never thought Taylor Swift could make something so simply somber. I recently rediscovered it and it's probably my favorite song of all time. - keycha1n

To me this song sounds like a lullaby of reassurance to a child caught in turmoil, maybe a war or maybe in the cyclones of his/her very own mind. Always helps me calm down...
Maybe its not that romantic stuff so is on 15th, otherwise, this song has depth- in music, in lyrics and in theme. (not some childish breakup song)

Beautful! I love how majestic her voice is on this track. I think this should have been in the top 20- I was expecting it to be! This is purely lovely, and it sounds great without any alterations- sounds crystal clear and pure, beautiful and delicate. I hope for this to one day be in the top 10!

I don't really like Taylor Swift that much, but this song is phenomenal. She, along with Joy Williams and John Paul White (The Civil Wars) really nailed this one. The melody and songwriting really is beautiful, and her voice in this particular song just has this light airiness that makes it all perfect.

I'm glad this song cracked the top 20, it's really calming and makes you feel like everything is alright even as a die-hard fan who believes in and appreciates her talent,I couldn't believe it was her song. A friend of mine who until the RED album didn't respect taylor for the brilliant lyricist she is was the one who told me about the song and really commended taylor since she previously thought taylor could write only break-up songs.

Its just beautiful and perfect to play on the guitar! A little bit of practice and you can play the best Taylor song in the world. Its such a fantastic lullaby with enchanting lyrics that dig so deep into your emotions. Its a perfect song from note one

This song almost moved me to tears, when I first heard it. I can listen to this song 20 times a day, and still never get tired! It is a truly inspirational, motivational and the most beautiful song by Taylor Swift. This song gives me strength, metaphorically speaking! - TheDarkWolf

! Its 30th? Come on it is a lot better I just it... I expected it to be at least in the top 10 because it really deserves it... This way if no one gets to know about this song it would be a shame she sings it so gorgeous which makes me love the song even more...

! I really really really love this song... Taylor has a wide variety of voice. Her voice in this song is so so so sweet... Love you Tay Tay! And even The Hunger Games is my favourite movie! Can't wait for the upcoming Mockingjay part1! T. S and H. G rock!

This is a great song! I get it stuck in my head a lot. I haven't read the Hunger Games yet or saw the movie, but I really want too. Especially after hearing this song, it's such a great song. This should be in the Top 10 songs by Taylor.

I wish Taylor did more songs like this. Songs that tell you the truth of the dark, terrible circumstances surrounding the characters involved, yet still having a glimmer of hope in them. It's a gorgeous lullaby and a very inspiring song.

Its such an amazing song! You can feel her pain in it. It just touches your heart. Can't believe its not in TOP 10. Just listen to it. I always sin along whenever I hear it. It has amazing lyrics. The last part is just awesome.

This song had really touched my heart. Her voice sounds so pure and beautiful in this song that it makes it so much more magical and mystical. The melody of which of the acoustic guitar is beautifully played.

This is an amazing song! I can't believe it's this low on the list but I suppose it's cause it's a new song, it reflects so much of the hunger games. The lyrics and melody is just beautiful!

Safe & Sound is definitely my favourite song of Taylor's. It's peaceful yet conveys a lot of emotion. A pretty melody that is also very haunting. This song can be applied to many different situations. It is literally my favourite.

Seriously? 21st? Safe & Sound is the best! It's so bittersweet and goes perfectly with the whole Hunger Games soundtrack. So underrated... This is one of the only film songs that made me cry, ever. Ever. It's Twilights a Thousand Years! But better. I listen to this to help me focus on some work, or whenever I'm feeling sad. I guess it's about Peeta and Katniss, but oddly, it makes me think the most of Katniss and Prim, the person she loved even more than Peeta, I think, or just as much. And that she couldn't save... Aww

I absolutely adore this song. Keep singing taylor and don't stop. 4 all your fans out there in the world. I just can't stop singing this song. I've already memorized all the lyrics. I love you taylor

This song is hauntingly beautiful with amazing lyrics that are just vague enough to fit nearly every character in the Hunger Games trilogy. Fantastic job done by her and the Civil Wars

So, so beautiful. I can't believe that this song isn't that well known, when this is so emotional and beautiful. The song also really goes with the Hunger Games. Once again, so, so, so beautiful.

I am a big fan of the Hunger Games so when I heard this, I was flipping out. I even like the way the song goes because it soft and soothing. I think it's one of the BEST songs that I've ever heard!

Completely different melody... Beautifully sung... I have heard this song about a thousand time from its date of release... And must say the civil wars have given a great feet to the song...

42nd? Are you kidding me? This has to be the best song I've heard in a long, long time... It's so touching and beautiful and - dare I say it - haunting. It's raw emotion, and Taylor's at her peak...
