Best Underoath SongsUnderOath is a great band with great music. I am curious to see people's opinions.
The Top Ten
Awesome song! The chorus really pumps you up.
Its like "Listen to me or you'll pay" song. One who hasn't
Listened to this song yet doesn't really know anything about this band. And by the way Breathing in a new mentality shouldn't be at the top. That position should be occupied by this song.
This Band is so extremely good. I'm Really surprised that this band is so underrated. Really!
However this song is definitely their best as it is not full screamo and listen it carefully. Its lyrics are so meaningful. Well the main part is the song's Chorus. So Good!
I literally don't know why people even compare other metal core bands to underoath, like asking alexandria, Bullet for my valentine, and sleeping with sirens. They don't even compare to what underoath is, and this song proves that they are on a whole other level.
Damn nyc song... But they should. Have included a longer scream
EASILY their best song, believe me, the more you listen to this the better it gets, I'm not even a fan of screaming and I still love it. Thanks Davey
Aaron's cleans mixed with Spencer's screams is the perfect vocal combination on this track. Definitely a classic. So much meaning, and Spence's growls at the bridge are amazing.
Awesome breakdowns, the drums are amazing in this song, the screams in this song especially at the start make just want to listen to it over and over.
That's pretty much what they tried to do and they nailed it!V 3 Comments
So epic. I can literally worship to this song. It builds so beautifully, and spencer and aaron sound terrific. - AsCitiesBurn444
So calm and inviting. When the breakdown starts its glorious and full of emotion
One of their heavier songs. The part at 1:22 is so freaking heavy. Pure epicness
Very emotionally packed song. Amazing
I think this song was one of the best defining moments that made Underoath what they are today. Even though they are breaking up, this song will forever be one of their best legacies, as well as many others.
The lyrics are quite incredible and this will be one of those songs that I will never get tired of hearing!
Great song! It's one of those that just instantly gets stuck in your head! But in a good way of course!
One of the best metal songs out there and always will be.V 3 Comments
This song is one of their best. The lyrics are very sincere and relate to a lot of people. One of their best songs in my opinion.
Can't stop heard thi song. Amazing song from underoath
It's "That one song everyone knows" for very good reason. It's energizing, dynamic and is still 100% listenable 8 years after the release of "They're only chasing safety"
Not only their best song but one of the best songs of all time for me. It stands out so much compared to all their other songs, very unique, simple, effective. I can listen to this on repeat for hours and never get tired of it. "UP AGAINST THE WALL, UP AGAINST THE WALL."
It makes me want to bang my head "UP AGAINST THE WALL UP AGAINST THE WALL" that this song is not at very minimum top 3. Is number 1 in my opinion.
Beast songV 4 Comments
So Creative and unique
Clearly Underøaths best song. Its addicting to listen to
I'm content with losing is the best song off of "they're Only Chasing Safety",
Witch auto-manically hook listeners in with Spenser's screaming and Arron's singing. Like most songs on the album, the chorus is singing with a slight bit of screaming. With a screamed hook. The lyrics right before the second chorus should energize Listeners with a soft then screamed "are you ready? "(with a yeah screamed after the second). The beast is at the end when Spencer winds up and then Arron's two Chorus verses go off at the same time with Spencer screaming "from me"with the close up is Arron's two chorus lines at the same time, only without instrument in the background and Spenser's screaming.
I completely and uderly the person who left the huge comment before me is a chick b/c there totally wanting some Underoath dick with that comment...good song.
"I stare at the wall watching my time float away. It's all been a blur and nothing will change."
Chills, Just chills. I've got to say this is hands down my favorite part of any Underoath song.
If you don't agree I strongly urge you to revisit.
This is definitely the best song I've heard from this band or any other band for that matter. It's hard not to listen to this and not be inspired. From great screams to amazing vocals, this song never gets old!
I often see this song regarded as one of the best in the post-hardcore genre. It's so much different from their other songs yet so unique. This is the best song from their best album undoubtedly.
In my opinion their all around best song ever everything clicked with this song Aarons drumming perfectly matched and even raised the emotion in this song and Spencers vocals provided that unique Underoath energy throughout the whole song this is truly an Underoath masterpiece
It is so difficult to vote for one song here... wow... but this song is in my opinion the best
I love this song, do you ever hear this song? Try to listening before you are take this vote :-)
Pleas listning, this is great song. Music is slowly but combined with an energetic scream.
I never find song like it, it's amazing! Perfecto! - alemo-kidrebelrock-people
Easily Underoath's Heaviest Song.
The build up to "Oh god" is still the best 20 seconds of any song every proDuced
Still their best song
I don't get how anyone can think that this song isn't their best. The way it just speaks to me.
This song... My god, it is just PERFECTFIION! By far the best song I've evet heard from Underoath
Oh, Mr. Poe. - Catacorn
I say what I don't mean and mean what I don't.
I know this song wasn't a single. It didn't chart or get air time. But this song has been may favorite Underoath song ever since it was released (my favorite song of all time for a while). If I've gotten myself in a bad spot in life, sometimes all it has taken to keep me from considering the unthinkable and ending it all is to hear Spencer bellow those words in my ear, "It's time for you to press on. This is not your war. Set your sights to north and press on. This is not your escape. Wash away what they thought of you and press on." For that, it alone deserves the #1 spot.
Just awesome song, great lyric!
The Best Intro I have heard since Attack Attack's People's Elbow, the screaming, guitar, drums, everything was on point.Great Job, Underoath
You guys need to hear this song, but the core of this song is in the intro.I sugest this song if you are feeling down
Amazing Song! The clean vocals on the chorus are great! The best song from their last album!
CHORUS! Give me goosebumps
The beginning is just so badass. You first hear some techno stuff in the beginning then BOOM! It is really an epic song
This is one of the great song of underoath
Whatever I say goes. Love it
This is the heaviest song I heard that they sung.
This is too good and is worth listening..
I wonder why it's not on the list..
This is such an amazing song. I was blown away by how great the vocals were. They definitely went out on top with this song and Unsound. I wish they were still around to record more songs like this.
One of Underoath's Heaviest songs and it has such deep and emotional lyrics.
It is sad to think that this is one of their last songs because of how good the song's melodies flow. I wish they would have kept recording songs like this and Sunburnt. They definitely went out on top.
Screw the band, screw the "scene", screw the lyrics...and watch these dudes take great joy in screwing eachother...this song is the best simply for the name.
Should really by up in the top 5 and I know what your thinking "oh everybody says that" no go check this one out you won't be disappointed.
