Best Video Games of 1998

Best game of the fifth generation. it may be my least favorite 3d Zelda title on a console, although I've never played majora's mask befor ein my life, but all of these Nintendo haters can s*** it because this is the second highest review score behind super Mario galaxy according to gamerankings and you cannot cheat Nintendo out of a win because this is the second most influential game of all time tied with super Mario 64 perhaps only behind the ORIGINAL super Mario bros gthis game is awesome and anyone who doesn't think so has either not played it before or is in denial.

Highest rated game on Metacritic. No doubt it is the best of 1998. It was the best then, and 17 years later it is still the best!

How is this not #1!? Resident evil 2 was a good game but it's controls gameplay graphics and extras do not compare to OofT!

Overrated as hell, but that doesn't mean that this is a bad game, its far from that,

Come on, we all know Ocarina is overrated, so why not actually vote for a REALLY great game rather than just a great one? Besides, this one has me in it. ;D

Awesome game that introduced 2 awesome characters - Leon and Claire

Love this game

1998 is the best year for a lot of people but due to me not liking some of those classic as much as other people (looking at you Ocarina of Time), and not having played some games that I REALLY want to play but unfortunately can't for now (looking at you Banjo Kazooie and Sonic Adventure), 1998 is not my favorite year. Spyro the Dragon is amazing though. It looks amazing, has nice music, suprisingly great combat for this kind of game, amazing exploration and platforming, and is probably my favorite game to replay ever. The bosses are terrible, but other than that, it is clearly one of the best first game a franchise has ever seen.

I thought this was '96 in Japan which means its original release date was '96.
