Actually, this was one of cena's worst years

7 2007

He started the year with a breathtaking seesaw last man standing match with Umaga, and his personal record title reign went well through the year. I think this year along with the previous 2 had his best quality matches for drama, storylines, intensity and unpredictability. I think he declined the next few (2009 wasn't far behind) and then he softened a lot after.. He is so pussified now That I can't watch him anymore. to be honest I haven't watched WWE barely for years.
I stopped watching as often from around 2008 anyway, and virtually stopped from 2010 onwards when I didn't enjoy the new wrestlers characters

Cena held the WWE title for over a year. He defeated Umaga in a Last Man Standing match, beat Shawn Michaels, Edge, Randy Orton, Bobby Lashley, The Great Khali, and others. He was injured in October and forced to end his year long reign. - Hernandez1614

Epic matches with Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton, Edge and HBK.
