Biggest Cash Cows of All Time

The Top Ten
1 Monopoly

This is probably Hasbro's most famous board game. It has many variants, electronic versions, and even a promotion at McDonald's at one point. It's also sold in 101 countries.

2 Minions

Why is Frozen above? No one pays attention to Frozen compared to Minions. They even made a 2 hour long commercial and put it on theaters. At least Frozen isn't a bad movie, but this movie is terrible. Call of duty eh, Apple makes devices, and obviously electronic devices are expensive. And Pokemon is well-known and it's addicting, so Nintendo and Game Freak have to satisfy their users

Minions were only ment to be side jokes but then, illumination realized how big of cash cows they are and made an ENTIRE movie based on them. That movie is the 3rd highest grossing animated film now.

I'm not going to lie, these guys are really cute and I did use to have a whole room themed around minions but... why didn't I vote something else *sighs*

Did I mention a sequel to the Despicable Me prequel is being made.

3 Pokemon Pokémon, abbreviated from the Japanese title of Pocket Monsters and currently advertised in English as Pokémon: The Series, is a Japanese anime television series, which has been adapted for the international television markets. It was first broadcast in Japan on April 1, 1997, in the United States on September 8, 1998.

It's the anime that most kids are familiar with, and it has exploded into decades of video games, trading cards, and an anime lasting over 700 episodes. I hope Nintendo is enjoying raking in the dough that this franchise made for them, as well as their other stuff, such as Mario, Zelda, etc. Those are also big cash cows, and they will be added to the list as well.

Yep, they do everything to meet their user's quality standards. That's why they are one of the best franchises in the world.

The first ever anime I ever saw.

How is this above Apple?

Their products are too expensive and the options are limited. At least you can still buy songs on Apple devices unlike Google Play where they abolished the ability to buy music.

Want Proof that they are Cash Cows they sold a Pencil for $100 and people still bought it

Expensive but very advanced technology. ROBLOX is the real cash cow

5 Power Rangers
6 Frozen

It's literally everywhere. You can't escape from it. It has everything: toys, books, clothes, jewelry, coloring books, makeup, fruit snacks, and who knows what else. I used to get annoyed whenever I saw a Frozen related item in the store, but now whenever I go to the store, I just accept that a Frozen related item is obviously going to be there and that there is no escaping from this franchise. No wonder it's the highest grossing animated film ever.

When the sequel came along, toxic kiddie fans were wearing Elsa costumes to the cinemas every time. If it gets annoying, say "Anna becomes the Queen of Arnadelle" to them if they have not watched it yet. This will piss off Frozen fans.

Frozen.. My worst enemy...

15 Minecraft

New updates suck. The older versions were better. It only deserved to be overrated the first time it became a trend in 2013. When that trend made a comeback in 2019, the game was already getting worse at that point.

The only good part is the game itself (I mostly play PE)

Batman is a major cash cow along with with Superman, Spiderman, etc. Batman has raked in the dough for DC by having countless toys, video games, comics, video games, T.V. shows, and who knows how many films. This franchise may never die and probably won't for the next decade.

That one character that is milked to death! (even though he is my favorite Dc Character.) Basically the Meryl Streep of Dc! If you know what I'm saying!

17 Shrek

Before Shrek, Dreamworks was known for making movies that almost no one remembers and were only made to capitalize on the success of it's competitor, Disney. However, everything changed with Shrek. It received critical acclaim and even won the first Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Ever since then, Dreamworks has been more popular and the Shrek franchise is extremely popular, with tons of sequels, a spinoff, food chain promotions, and is one of the most revered internet memes ever.

18 High School Musical

Maybe for the fourth and the television series that are coming out.

20 Star Wars
21 NFL

The Emoji Movie may have been a financial success, making four times its original budget, it was a massive critical failure by many.

Rough Night and Spiderman: Homecoming might be good or bad! But Sony isn't going anywhere with the Emoji movie!

Rough Night flopped, The Emoji Movie is definitely going to flop, and Jumanji looks like rubbish!

I swear, if they sell as much merchandise as Frozen's for the emoji movie.

25 Disney The Walt Disney Company, commonly known as Disney, is an American diversified multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate headquartered at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California.

The worst company of all time. Ever since Ralph 2, they really went downhill with the quality of their movies and were only made for money. Onward is the most original Disney movie in YEARS as throughout 2018 and 2019, there were only sequels, pointless adaptions and crappy remakes.
