Thomas Matthew "Tom" DeLonge, Jr., is an American musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur, and film producer. He was born in Poway, California on December 13, 1975. When he was in high school at age 15, he got expelled for drinking at a basketball game. He also used to play the trumpet, but later played the electric guitar instead. He decided to form a band with Mark Hoppus and Scott Raynor called Blink-182. He was known for his guitar playing and his raspy voice. Years later in 2015, Tom left the band Blink-182. Other bands he was in include AVA and Box Car Racer. This list is ridiculous, some of these people don't even belong on the list, like Tom. What did he do that was so bad? Leave the band? Having trouble with his bandmates? First of all he had contract problems that could get him bankrupt, second, his own band forced him to record an album in 6 months. Plus, what Mark and Travis said about him is not all true, not 100% true, they said he did not want to work on anything Blink-182 related. Then why did Tom have ideas of songs for Blink-182 then and had a solo album with those songs? Plus, he clearly worked a lot on Neighborhoods and Dogs Eating Dogs, you can hear his sound influence in it. Yes, Tom promises too much than what he can do and all, but a jerk? No.
Tom isn't a jerk, once and for all, stop with the bandwagoning that Tom is a jerk. Real jerks are like Chris Brown, who beated up people for no reason. The fact that he is higher than Chris Brown makes me sick. At least Tom does not beat up people for no reason and threatens to kill others. Chris Brown is not even sorry for doing such thing. I am sick of Tom being overhated. The only reason you believe this is because Mark and Travis talked garbage about him on the Rolling Stones. Hear Toms side of the story, he wanted to expand and do more, not hurt his bandmates. Plus, people mainly listen to rumors and lies about him, such as him being egotistical and being a terrible person. I saw his interviews and what he has done, actual evidence, not rumors, and Tom is not a bad person at all, in fact, he is a good person, the only time he was really egotistical was when he was on painkillers/drugs, but he was obviously not normal there. Get him off the list, Tom is a good person, not a jerk, don't believe rumors. He is nice and friendly to his fans, does a lot of charity, and visits sick children in the hospital. Just because he is a procrastinator and had trouble with his bandmates does not mean he is a terrible person. And him having a vision and ambition does not mean he is egotistical, I love his way of thinking.
