Top 10 Biggest Problems with Dan & Phil & Their Fandom
Dan & Phil are currently amongst the most popular YouTubers in the U.K. after Zoella (who once had the most popular YouTube channel in the U.K. until she quit it) (yet Dan & Phil are already on hiatus). Daniel Howell & Phil Lester are crazy in their own different ways & they have problems as well & despite that they grew really popular & have a really huge fanbase. Here are their biggest problems. No judgmental criticism/insult intended.Dan & Phil are extremely popular & have SUCH a crazy fandom with a bunch of kids reacting in the name of "phannies/phans". Seriously, they have developed a fanbase that's outta control. Yet their "phans" fight & act immature for the most part all from Dan & Phil's influence. Proves how successful they are at growing a huge channel & fanbase, too successful.
You know to sign onto YouTube you have to be 13+ years old & most of Dan & Phil's fans or "phannies/phans" are 10 years old, which is too young. It's like watching a PG-13 movie when one's clearly under 13. What has happened to society these days.
Believe it or not, Dan & Phil act very hyper. For example they talk really fast & Phil Lester drinks too much coffee, which leads to hyperactivity & shakiness from the caffeine. It literally affects the quality of life.
It's a known fact Phil Lester drinks coffee at extreme doses all the time, which contains caffeine, leading to jitteriness, shakiness & hyperactivity, leading to his hyperactive behavior & inability to hold the phone steady, therefore for all those reasons, their videos are hard to watch. Glad I don't drink that much coffee though. It's an overdose.
You know from his videos his hands shake too much, therefore he's unable to hold his phone steady & the camera work is extremely shaky & even rivals the camera work in movies like the Blair Witch Project, Cloverfield, Paranormal Activity, Cannibal Holocaust, Project Almanac, the Jason Bourne movies, Battle LA, Saving Private Ryan, Earth to Echo, Man of Steel, the Hunger Games, Rogue One, Solo: A Star Wars Story, or such in that matter. I don't get why he & Dan are so popular despite issues like his extremely shaky hands & camera work.
Their videos are too hard to watch for reasons like fast talking, drama & jerky cinematography. They talk dramatic in situations especially from certain moments in gaming & sexuality. Phil talks too fast & makes the videos too shaky by holding the phone with his extremely shaky hands & you know some people can get dizzy or have motion sickness easily. Yet some people have trouble keeping track of fast-paced talking. Therefore for all such reasons, their videos aren't for everybody or for the most part even personally worth watching anyway. I can't believe they're still so popular with Dan having more than 6 million subscribers & Phil having more than 4.5 million.
You see in the beginning or ending of vlogs of theirs, Phil Lester especially shakes the phone too much while holding it, therefore making his videos a reckless mess. For example, have you seen his "Day in the Life" vlogs? His shaky camera work makes it extremely difficult to see what they're doing & promotes dizziness/motion sickness in susceptible people, especially those viewing full screen &/or using large devices like PCs. Yet some have eye-tracking problems & have a harder time watching shaky motion in videos than others. They're definitely on the extreme side in that matter.
It's a known fact Dan & Phil talk really fast & they seem to talk too fast & some people have a hard time keeping track of fast talk. Good thing YouTube has playback speed settings though the more you slow it down, the fuzzier it sounds due to time stretch & lower frequency, also causing problems. It's better for them to talk slower to be honest.
They used to do so much gaming back in the day, when there was DanIsNotOnFire. Nowadays it's more random regular modern day videos than before. They've certainly changed.
For example, the coming out video was pretty dramatic in its own right, though it's obvious. Yet other things they're dramatic at talking about. Yet even their fanbase is a big deal of drama.
Dan & Phil are known for having a wild fanbase & they call them "phannies/phans", which is just too childish & ridiculous to be honest. There are better things to call people to be honest. Yet not only is the term childish, but most of their fans or phannies/phans are 10 year olds, & to have a YouTube account you have to be 13+. To sign onto YouTube at 10 is like sneaking into a PG-13 movie at 10.
