The Contenders: Page 7
Hail to the king... The king being consumerist America looking for a shallow Pantera rip-off.
What's an over-the-hill prince of darkness to do once he's no longer selling records? Plug cell phones and video games. I'm sure Sharon made him do it. She has a lifestyle to maintain, ya know? - a7x,antar
Just watch the show "the Osbournes"
Reality T.V. , brushing shoulders with Hollywood socialite trash, did a Christmas song with Jessica Simpson.
Black Sabbath was truly innovative stuff. I consider them to be the first metal band. Ozzy Osbourne (as in the band) is over the top, super gimmicky, basic music. The lyrics and stories are also really cheesy. People who listen to Ozzy Osbourne listen to Bon Jovi and Winger. His music is trash. The best Sabbath album (Heaven and Hell) was made after he left with the metal legend DIO! R.I.P. Dio.
Started as a thrash band much like Metallica. They are not as popular as Metallica, nor were they as good in the first place, but I can tell you they sold out much worse. Their 80's stuff is respectable thrash metal music made in a very unique, comical style. In the 90's they fired their singer, hired a new one and started making music that didn't sound like Anthrax at all and was intended for solely making money. Fortunately they failed to sell out and eventually had to bring back their original singer. They started making quite good music again that sounded more like their 80's stuff but are now old men way past their prime. Basically they destroyed their own career by selling out. Should be higher than Metallica and Metallica does not belong even to top 10.
She had a couple of original songs that were really good like anything could happen and explosions then released burn which sucks, just seems like less her and more dance song to make loads of money very generic.
Egomanic Waters ruined a great band by falling out with the "sound" of Floyd, Gilmour and Wright (RIP), believing he was the only one that mattered. His solo work is depressing, relentless utter crap
Up until the Resistance, they were pure rock, with a hint of pop. In the Resistance, they had a few classical songs, which is the farthest thing from selling out. I still call them a sellout band because of their most recent album, The 2nd Law. It has a lot of dance/electro and more pop than ever. This is not the Muse I know and not the Muse I like. - Songsta41
In the beginning, Muse were a 21st-century Radiohead. Then they appeared in Twilight, and it sucked from there on.
Everything about muse is boring. Except the lead singers voice, which makes me want to stick knitting needles in my ears.
