Top 10 Biggest Snubs in the 2021 Razzie Awards

The more things change, the more stay the same...

Yep it's time to revalue the Razzie Awards taking place the next Saturday and their sometimes controversial or lazy decisions. We all know that 2020 was a hard year for everyone and especially the cinema industry, but of course the Razzie will still find a way to make some questionable decisions during the ceremony of this year.

Let's check the movies that sadly didn't get nominated for the awards.
The Top Ten
1 Artemis Fowl

Yep, that's right, the movie that everyone thought would genuinely destroy Disney's entire live action catalog was snubbed from the list, either because it was so forgotten the razzies didn't picked it back, or because the razzies had some weird "bias" with Disney
Either way, it's quite hard to believe this movie didn't ended being nominated, for any single award
Deserved Nominations:
- Worst Picture
- Worst Director: Kenneth Branagh
- Worst Supporting Actor: Josh Gad
- Worst Supporting Actress: Judi Dench
- Worst Screen Combo: the entire cast
- Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel

- Worst Screenplay

2 After We Collided After We Collided Product Image

And it's still better than the first movie...
Deserved Nominations:
- Worst Picture
- Worst Director: Roger Kumble
- Worst Actor: Hero Fiennes-Tiffin
- Worst Actress: Josephine Langford
- Worst Screen Combo: Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes-Tiffin
- Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel

3 The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson Product Image

Okay so the razzies nominated Charles Band... for those who don't know Charles Band is well known for making low budget horror/comedy movies such as Demonic Toys, The Puppet Master, Evil Bong and his magnum opus The Gingerdead Man

I'll bring this up because it's pretty obvious the guy is nothing more than a s***poster, which is nothing wrong with it as long as it doesn't take so seriously, thing that Mr Band doesn't really do... so, why did the razzies nominated him instead of this phiasco of a movie that takes itself to damn seriously? Specially when it's a indirect sequel of the also abysmal The Haunting of Sharon Tate?

Deserved Nominations:
- Worst Picture
- Worst Director: Daniel Ferrandis
- Worst Actress: Mena Suvari
- Worst Screen Combo: Mensa Suvari and Gene Freeman or Drew Roy
- Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel
- Worst Screenplay

4 The Kissing Booth #2 The Kissing Booth #2 Product Image

Another Kissing Booth movie and another wasted time of crappy teenage drama with some of the most boring and pretentious teenage fantasies out there
Deserved Nominations:
- Worst Picture
- Worst Actor: Jacob Elordi
- Worst Actress: Joey King
- Worst Screen Combo: Joey King and Jacob Elordi or Taylor Zakhar Perez

- Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel

5 Force of Nature Force of Nature Product Image

A complete mess of a film that not only doesn't follow the basic instructions of a screenplay, but also the one movie that might turn Mel Gibson into direct to cable/DVD tier actor
Deserved Nominations:
- Worst Picture
- Worst Director: Michael Polish
- Worst Actor: Mel Gibson
- Worst Screen Combo: Mel Gibson and anyone he shares screen with
- Worst Screenplay

6 Mulan Mulan Product Image

Another Disney movie that flopped almost everywhere and for some reason it didn't ended nominated, making me think the razzies are too scared to get feud with Disney
Deserved Nominations:

- Worst Director: Niki Caro
- Worst Supporting Actress: Gong Li
- Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel
- Worst Screenplay

Pure dumpster fire.

Worst Filming Location: Chinese Concentration Camps

7 John Henry John Henry Product Image

And the award of the most ridiculous and bizarre adaptation of the year goes to...
Deserved Nominations:
- Worst Picture
- Worst Actor: Terry Crews
- Worst Screen Combo: Terry Crews and Ludacris
- Worst Screenplay

8 Bloodshot Bloodshot Product Image

A few people might not remember this movie, but it was one of the very first "blockbusters" of the year, and the fact that it got so forgotten so quickly shows how mediocre it is
Deserved Nominations:
- Worst Director: David S F Wilson
- Worst Actor: Vin Diesel
- Worst Screen Combo: Vin Diesel and anyone who shares screen with
- Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel

9 Absolute Proof Absolute Proof Product Image

How the hell the big winner of the night counts as a snub?

10 The New Mutants The New Mutants Product Image

The "supposed" last movie in the Xmen franchise and sadly another really disappointing ending after the already disappointing Dark Phoenix... I'd argue this one is better than Dark Phoenix and that if it wasn't by how mistreated it was in the production, it could be a decent product... despite all that, it's still a bad result
Also can we just stop putting Anya Taylor Joy in bad and mediocre blockbusters? Come on, she deserves way better than that
Deserved Nominations:
- Worst Director: Josh Boone
- Worst Supporting Actress: Anya Taylor-Joy
- Worst Supporting Actress: Alicia Braga
- Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel

The Contenders
11 Downhill Downhill Product Image

Do we really need Will Ferrell anymore? I mean he is not a bad actor and nor a bad comedian, but I feel his style has become oversaturated with time, at a point where he is not really surprising or inventive anymore
Deserved Nominations:
- Worst Actor: Will Ferrell
- Worst Actress: Julia Louis-Dreyfus
- Worst Screen Combo: Will Ferrell and Julia Louis-Dreyfus
- Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel

12 Cuties

Should been nominated for worst picture worst actress director worst screen combo worst screenplay

Why was this not nominated at the Razzies? Isn’t this considered one of the worst movies of all time?
