Biggest "Tools" in Music

The Top Ten
1 Gene Simmons Chaim Witz, known professionally by his stage name Gene Simmons, is an Israeli-American musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur, actor and television personality.

Do I even need to explain this?

We're all agreed on this one, right?

3 Ted Nugent Theodore Anthony "Ted" Nugent is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist and far right activist. Nugent initially gained fame as the lead guitarist of the Amboy Dukes, a band formed in 1963 that played psychedelic rock and hard rock.

It's not just his beliefs...more his way of expressing those beliefs. Also, he even LOOKS like a tool.

4 Lars Ulrich Lars Ulrich is a Danish drummer and one of the founding members of the American thrash metal band Metallica.

I think that Metallica and Lars were right in the "Napster thing" because Napster did something illegal, it was against the law. But media and Megadeth fans made it look like greed or something like that. I know Lars isn't the best personality ever but again, I think he was unfairly accused in the process of the "Napster thing".

5 Liam Gallagher William John Paul "Liam" Gallagher is an English musician, singer, and songwriter. He rose to fame as the lead singer of the rock band Oasis, and later as the singer of Beady Eye.

If I can only choose one tool from Oasis, Liam probably has the edge. But it's a close call.

Haha, yes, it's hard to choose, bros are piece of art, but I agree Liam is probably worse

6 Jimmy Page James Patrick Page is an English musician, songwriter, and record producer who achieved international success as the guitarist and founder of the rock band Led Zeppelin.

His 13 year old groupie girlfriend alone should get him to the top here.

7 Scott Stapp Scott Stapp is an American singer, songwriter, and musician, known as the lead vocalist and lyricist of hard rock bands Creed and Art of Anarchy. He also has two solo albums: The Great Divide and Proof of Life.

Can't stand Creed to begin with, but the guy has acted like a drunken douche.

8 Dave Mustaine David Scott "Dave" Mustaine (born September 13, 1961) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, actor and author. Mustaine is best known as a pioneer in Thrash Metal, being the former lead guitarist of Metallica before his dismissal in 1983, leading to finding and becoming the front man of his own band Megadeth shortly after.

Not as douche-y as Lars from "Metallica" but what is that really saying?

9 Johnny Rotten John Joseph Lydon, also known by his former stage name Johnny Rotten, is an English singer, songwriter, and musician.

OK so it's possibly all schtick or at least partly schtick, but still...he's aggressively obnoxious.

10 Axl Rose William Bruce Rose Jr., better known as 'Axl Rose', is an American singer born on February 6, 1962, in Lafayette, Indiana. He Is the founder and lead singer of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses. He is a celebrated but controversial figure in the world of rock.

11 Bono Paul David Hewson, known by his stage name Bono, is an Irish singer-songwriter, musician, venture capitalist, businessman, and philanthropist. His original nickname was Bono Vox which means "big voice".

Some may want to vote him a lot higher, some might want to vote him lower. Surely everyone agrees he's kind of a tool though.

Everything said about Ted Nugent is TRUE about Bono.

12 Sebastian Bach Sebastian Philip Bierk, known professionally as Sebastian Bach, is a Canadian heavy metal singer who achieved mainstream success as frontman of Skid Row from 1987-96. Since his departure from Skid Row, he has had many television roles, acted in Broadway plays, and leads a solo career.

He amuses me and has slightly matured over the years, but...still a tool. Maybe a likeable one.
