Top 10 Birthday Traditions Around the World

Different countries adopt different methods to wish their birthday-mates. Here is a list of such birthday traditions around the world. Also, wherever I have mentioned 'you' or 'your', it refers to the person having their birthday.

2 Eating noodles to promote your long life (China)

Whenever we eat at Chinatowns during an elderly relative's birthday, noodles are ALWAYS served. (We're Chinese)

Though some people do this everyday

3 Being lifted up and down on a chair (Israel)

I just hope they don't do it to the elderly. Or the obese.

Same as clusium - I've never heard of that. I can only guess - probably in some tribes of Aboriginal /Native people.

I'm a Canadian, & I have never heard of that, in my whole life.
