Rock bands, that put little to no effort in their music and often come off as bland. Some of them shouldn't even be called rock bands, but oh well. These bands, might even come off as a bit boring.

Every album of theirs, is exactly like the first. Their music isn't offensively bad, but in terms of production is very bland.

Their newer stuff isn't really rock.

2 Maroon 5 Maroon 5 is an American pop/pop rock band that originated in Los Angeles, California. Before the current group was established, the original four members, Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael Mickey Madden and Ryan Dusick, formed a band known as Kara's Flowers in 1994, while they were still in high school.

Regardless, of what you want to call them one thing is for certain. Their music is definitely bland, and boring to listen to.

Their older stuff, was slightly tolerable. But, as the band went on their music proceeded to get bland and stale.

At least they're way more better than Justin Bieber.

4 Fall Out Boy Fall Out Boy is an American pop punk band formed in Wilmette, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, in 2001. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Patrick Stump, bassist Pete Wentz, guitarist Joe Trohman, and drummer Andy Hurley.

Their "Rock" music, is about as creative as a average Drake song. Which isn't creative at all, I can't stand how boring and uncreative their music really is.

They REALLY went downhill after reforming. I only like two of their songs since then (My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark and The Phoenix.)

Maroon 5 was never rock, and FOB and ID haven't been in five years.

Bland, and utterly boring to listen to. If you want to listen to a band, that'll bore within 30 seconds or less this band is a perfect choice for that.

You should listen to High Hopes if you haven't already. It's one of the only good mainstream songs of 2018 in my opinion. - B1ueNew

8 Nickelback Nickelback is a Canadian post-grunge band formed in 1995 in Hanna, Alberta, Canada. The band is composed of guitarist and lead vocalist Chad Kroeger, guitarist, keyboardist and backing vocalist Ryan Peake, bassist Mike Kroeger, and drummer Daniel Adair.

Having them in the top 10, is kinda redundant and cliche to be honest. Sure, their music is bland but there's blander and worse bands out there.

True, but I'll argue that Hinder is blander. Nickelback, at least has some heavy songs granted not many but still.

As much as I want to like them, but their songs sound quite bland.

All of their songs, are the same garbage over and over. I can't name ONE song, by this band has some shred of creativity or doesn't bore me. One of the world's, most boring and repugnant rock bands in existence.

How are they bland? They are experimental.

Experimental music is garbage.

Their music manages to get worse, and less interesting if you go through their discography. But trust me, it's really not worth it...

Some songs are great. Others are bland. Okay, they're hit or miss.

They put NO effort in their music, yet somehow have fans and I'm surprised they have fans at all. Considering, how boring and whiny their music is but oh well.

I love oasis with all my heart, but literally every single song sounds the exact same. I'm alright with that though, since I love that specific sound so much!

If you're a fan, I apologise for adding them. I just find them very bland.

I like them, but I understand why you think so.

Used to like them, but I've really grown out of their lackluster music. It's interesting for two minutes, but then really gets annoying.

Kinda bland but they are still good.

The LAST thing I'd call this band, is bland all of their music stands out.
