More of a high school series if you ask me. I've read the first book, it's rather tough to understand, but it's also a brilliant book. It's definitely a must read.

I really feel like this is one of the more underrated series I've read. Everybody is always comparing it to the Percy Jackson and Heroes of Olympus series, and I will say that I do agree that I like those books more. However, the main reason for that is I've been with Percy and the others for 7 more books than I've been with Carter and Sadie. It's very close in my opinion though and when a trilogy is almost as good as a ten book series (or two series), that really says a lot.

This book is so inspiring. It is about a boy who is behind everyone else. He is always "almost" as good as his friend or almost as good as anything. It is about how he gets through school and life.
