Books With the Least Satisfying Endings

I loved this book, but hated the ending. Overall, I hate endings that happen in the future. I feel like when an author uses one of those endings, it is kind of like a get-out-of-jail free card for a bad case of writer's block. In short: pathetic. I was very disappointed when I read the last page, but the book itself is great.

This was a great book, but I did not like the ending at all.

I loved the first three books in the Narnia series, but I did not really like this one. It was just bland in my opinion, especially the ending.

Outstanding book, bland ending.
