Most Boring Countries In Europematty101
The Top Ten
No Girls. The inhabitants are only old men dressed like old women. So huge country that you can cross it in 10 minutes walking. And so ecological and environmental area that to find a tree you have to search during years. And for the nightlife, restaurants, bars etc... pass you way. There is some attractions once a week, but such...
No boys. A totally sexist Country

This list is about the most boring countries, and Italy certainly isn't boring. If you're pressed Italy is more interesting than any other country you'll ever visit, please vent out somewhere else.
Not boring at all! So much to go and do, such fun in Italy
I am actually American, I've visited a lot of countries in Europe but Italy comes first in terms of the most boring, to me. Italian people are very low, they are very miserable and disagreeable. Weird people who believe they have life civilized, but are really a lost cause. Not very friendly, obnoxious people, very cold and aloof. Often are prone to accuse you of things you haven't done, cause you're the American guy or the outsider. Nothing will ever top the most boring country in the world to me: Italy. I have no idea why Norway made it to number 2. Norway is like America, lots of nature and hiking and places to do. Norway and Switzerland are the best countries in Europe! For any Sportsman. Poland also is an honorable mention, Remember, these nations. But Not Italy, over taxed and over controlled, cause it sucks too much, indeed.
Been to all European countries, but Italy is the most boring I've ever seen. Except from pizzas and pasta, it has no value at all but old rocks and mafia.V 18 Comments
Krakow, Wroclaw, Poznan, Katowice, Gdansk, Lodz - they all are boring as hell. Warsaw is only slightly better than the rest, but the nightlife is DEAD.
Has nothing to do in this country, Warsaw is kinda better but it's not something to considerate. Krakow is boring, Katowice is boring as hell.
Warsaw is a large Cowtown full of cornpone country p-u-s-s-y.
The Poles think they're tough and abuse non-whites in Poland and outside of it are just albino pussies.V 20 Comments
The country where people can have FUN, the BEST time ever. People are warm, welcoming, food is excellent. Serbia doesn't have so many metros or fancy buildings, but it has impressive history, hart and soul like no other country in Europe. Did you know that Serbians are the most gorgeous women in the world? National kitchen is great and people feel safe. Beautiful nature.
This is unfair! Serbia is a welcoming, kind place that's relaxed at the same time! All you're doing is trying to make yourself look like everyone else! Or at least try to like it and get outside! - animallover07013
Visited twice. Nothing to see there. Belgrade is the one place where I got decent food (no diversity there), but it is a strange mix of unkempt Istanbul and perhaps an Austrian or Central European city in need of fresh coat of paint. Overpriced hotels and nasty police.
Boring, stupid and people can be really agressive. Who wants to go there - NaletV 6 Comments
Okay country, but it looks more like a Italian copycat, they have not-so-big building anyways and some cities looks like 1800-1990 when you look at some, but one of has the water park and it is best, shopping center is also great, so it is good country not a all that bad one.
Very boring and one of the most racist in Europe. Hard to make friends and get to know locals. Avoid at all costs or you will regret.
Fudge this country! I'm Lithuanian and I do really bored with this crap! I'm just living on this boring city and workers are too lazy to upgrade the houses, but no, they leave those, messy, ugly and trashy houses that I'm sooo bored! Even country is so annoying, mean and stupid! Back then, this country is very kind, and teachers and all teenagers trying stop teasing and crap, now it's like a awful remake of the Russia, heck, the Estonians are very hard working people, as Lithuania create this country! Lithuanians are just like, meh let's just leave those fugly and old old buildings that people may get bored of it, god. And also sometimes I see nothing, Pokemon? NO! Mario? I think so, and I search in Wikipedia and it didn't searched any good and success stuff and instead only about those old and lame stuff that I almost want to go on to the better country! I'm just living in this small and boring city that to do nothing else! And I forgot something that they don't even sell all other ...more

It's so boring. It's not even Russia, it's meh Russia. Something between nothing and Russia (which is boring itself).
Oh god. I even looked at the images of this Russian-like country and it was absolutely DREADFUL. And I mean DREADFUL
No sea, no mountains, just plains and uninteresting cities. Bad goverment (authoritarian), not much to do. Norway is one of the most intersting countries in the world! I don't get why it's number 1. People who voted for countries like Norway, Italy and Bulgaria don't know how much those countries offer. Belarus should be number 1!
Just a bunch of farms nothing else like polandV 8 Comments
Very different from America, where the people are a lot healthier but also a lot stricter. Only the major cities are interesting and every other place is mostly inhabited by mean old women. Every kid seems to play soccer (or football), which isn't a bad thing but I'm just pointing it out. I went to high school in Berlin for three years and it was absolutely dreadful even though it was an international school. All the kids cared about their grades, and again, that isn't a bad thing but their parents would get all psycho if they didn't get an A (or 1) and it would eventually hurt your self esteem a bit. The people are very distant and care about their presentation and background a lot. Every German family seems to be the same: two kids, the wife that most likely takes care of the kids and the dad that either works at an office or travels a lot. Germany is beautiful but it can get rather boring pretty quickly. - TriSarahTops
Very robotic and unnatural boring culture
Come on, people! Germany definitely must be among the top three.
I love their German accentV 17 Comments
I tried so hard to tell people what I think about Norway and it is all in this article! So true, the nature is beautiful, but you can't enjoy it so much because of the climate, so melancholy! We lived before in England where you can do so much fun things : many parks, attractions, theme parks, playgrounds and many other things. And there you only can go for long walks and ski on the winters, if you ask what you do on free time that's it is, not much to do. As well I should say there is not much to choose on supermarket. Poor variety, all the same food. Every week I wonder what to buy, because it's all sucks, all the same stuff. In England I see so many different people, life styles, it's ok to live your own way, but here people all the same, eats plain food, go on weekends for a walk and do training and all thinking that Norway is the best country, there is just one life style if you different it means you are worst... It's strange for them if you not training or eating sandwiches... ...more
Absolutely deserving of the number one spot. As with other low population, largely homogenous countries, they usually offer good value for money. E.G. the baltic countries, Czech Republic, Hungary. Norway is overpriced, over taxed and over controlled. These factors kill any kind of spontaneous fun. Most people literally run home after work. Norwegians prefer to spend most of their time on the internet at home. Norway has the highest percentage of people on the internet and also 'authors', this includes writing blogs. Norwegians are very introverted people and prefer to live their lives in their heads. There isn't much going on in public. The country feels like it is run by an old, racist, boring, white woman. Casinos are ilegal, as is buying prostitution but not selling it? Very expensive to run a car. There are toll roads everywhere. The cost of a 7 year old car is about the same as a new or 1 year old car in most developed countries. Honestly Norway completely lacks the ingredients ...more
I live here, I am Norwegian, and yup- it is boring..to be fully honest... Unfortunately I have to agree.
Even trough it perhaps is one of the few countries in the world where everyone have the chance to make a future for themselves, you have to be really creative to not get bored out of your wits. Almost everything is really boring, just start with our poor history, you won't find anything exciting. A country with more money than Sweden, but still they have more fun. Yay:))
Norway sucksV 42 Comments
Whenever I visit Latvia, all the houses look like it was made by a kid, and the roads are bad too, I've been here at least three or four times whenever we go to Lithuania. Nice flag though, and Riga is pretty cool - darthvadern
The only reason it's so low down on this list is precisely because it's boring - it's so boring it's one of the lesser known countries in Europe.
Latvia is unique and amazing!
Nibba Latvia is not boringV 1 Comment
Beautiful girls live there. Not boring!
It's not boring, the hot springs are amazing and the cheese sandwiches taste great.

So boring country, you should go if you know where it's located.
Is it even a country? A lost land, should be boring like the worst: Vatican must be 1st, why even it exists?
KOSOVO IS SERBIA - SpicyMemeMan
What is this
Kosovo is a great place, if you have money, people are very friendly. They harrass women, who like being harrassed. People there get very offended if you say something about their religion or country to the point that they might beat you. Many things to do there and exciting.
Absolutely the most boring country. No sun, cold, depressed people, no one talking.
Decent, nothing too special, but certainly not the worst, I've only been here two or three times, and it's pretty beautiful - darthvadern
Crossed the country by foot, my god it really lame and super expenssive.
Pfff Is REALLY hard talk with Estonian people. I said TALK not just greetings. Also they are super afraid of imaginary cold and put the heat at 25°C from 1st of September...and just stay at home thinking how Estonian they are. So yes! is wonderful if you are a grumpy old man/lady. WAIT the most majority of inhabitants are in fact grumpy elderlies! Oh such a wonder!
Landscapes are great in some points. Enjoy that. Talk with some seagull. It could be your friend easier than a Estonian :)
Jobs sucks. 12 hours schedule. They are proud of that.
Horrible country, the most boring I have ever been to. It is very ugly too. Save your money and never go.
It's a very boring country
As a Hungarian I am very surprised to see Hungary on a lower place than the Czech Republic because Hungarians love to tell off their country everywhere. - Alkadikce

Boring nightlife, lack of respect towards women, very racist people. Nothing really to do there.
Poor roads, dirty beaches, everything so boring and dirty. I have visited 30 european countries and Albania is absolutely the most dirty and boring. People are very unhygienic, both women and men.
Weird people. Very female unfriendly people and zero to no respect for other nations. They're more patriotic than Americans.
We aren't racist, give me evidence. Plus there is so much stuff to do here. Play sports,go to parks, albanian alps so much things to do. - EhhhBarcaV 19 Comments
Not as well as Vatican city
Small and boring, nothing to do except visiting old buildings
Vatican City 2 - Spino55
I did this to tell you something
you think it is boring but if you are rossi fan go there
they have city that is 100% dedicated to him
sorry for my bad english
It's amazing country and people are funny and nice, a lot of old buildings and western and eastern culture in one country. Shouldn't be on this list. - Nalet
Who wants to go here
Should be definitely in the top 3. Anti-social people, bad weather, opening hours, high prices, nothing to do in most cities maybe with the exception of Stockholm/Gothenburg. Try to engage in a conversation with random Swede on a bus/pub/whatever, they will look shocked and will think you are weird. Yeah...
Sweden is terrible. You have to be 20 (! ) years old to buy alcohol and only one store sells alcohol, which has the weirdest opening hours. This, of course, makes it impossible to get your hands on any kind of alcohol unless you are 20 years old (except maybe light beer). The weather is always terrible and everyone is sad. The only duller place I can think of that is more boring is Norway. Can't believe Sweden wasn't higher on this list though.
After a year here...The weather is bad, there is nothing to do, nothing is ever open, and the people... swedes like glucose free food, are all vegetarians, they stand in line, they don't drink alcohol, their parties end at 1, they are incredibly antisocial and terribly boring people.
SWEDEN IS NICE, YOU SHOULD NOT TALK WITH RANDOMS DUMBASS MERICANV 28 Comments

It is actually very fun so get this of the list.
Foolishly arrogant people, very abusive and like to take credit of western European countries just because some of them can pass as white.

Ukraine is nor boring at all. I spend every summer there with no regrets
Ukraine is just a pathetic dump full of wannabe Russians. I've lived here for 2 years for a job, and it's the worst decision I've ever made. If you ever want to go to Ukraine, here's my advice: don't.
Boring country, most people are addicted to alcohol.
It sucks and its dangerous because of communismV 2 Comments
Women with empty souls, only looking for money. Horrible food, worst in Europe. Cold, rude, uneducated people in general. Nothing to do.
Very boring. Also the people have are very rude and boring with materialistic mind. Nothing to do.
Romania you never are boring!
You are so right I'm Romanian and a little Russian I was born there a beautiful place amazing. No wonder it is on last place - romania
I love this country and I think that it is not boring at all.Nightlife is magic and there are a lot of festivals during summer e.g Untold (was named the Best Major Festival within the European Festival Awards in 2015). There are also very nice restaurants with a fabulous view.V 6 Comments
I live in Belgium, the country is extremely boring and depressing.
I'm Belgian and I admit my country is unbelievably boring (it should be number 1) luckily I don't live in Belgium anymore though.
Belgium's quite underrated, actually. Especially the chocolate.
Belgium is the chocolate god of the world. People should respect it more. - IceFoxPlayz
I live in Belgium and I admit that the country is really boring lolV 25 Comments
Moldova is richer than all African and all Latin American countries. People are just jealous of Moldova. Because Moldova is in Europe, they know Moldova is one of the best countries to live, even better than their home country, but they're too stubborn to admit it so they just underrate it.
Not much to do there
It's not boring, moldovans love to have an active social lifestyle, to party, everything exept of staying at home and watch at T.V.. Even there are not beautiful places Moldova is a very interesting country because of people who live there. I lived there and I had just a great time.
The best part of Moldova was the part that isn't Moldova, Transnistria.
Chisinau was the most boring capital I've been to!
I'm from slovakia and I agree with all this.
It has the worst of everything, as simple (and sad :( ) as that!
Worst country ever..boring.. Rude people.. Narrow minded..bad infrastructure.. Playing smart but dumb and very racist
Nothing interesting about this country it’s the only country that hasn’t got at least one interesting country
I disagree! I spent half a year in Finland, and found it to be amazing! I spent most of my time in Helsinki (the capital) and the city was amazing! Sure it was cold in the winter, but an amazing experience!
Finland is not boring! I lived there for 2 years and the country is amazing. Some people may be a bit shy, but most were the friendliest I've ever met. Meaning honestly friendliest, not friendly for just to cheat you. Finland has many kind of indoor and outdoor aquaparks, festivals and other activities. How can you call that boring? Also the nightlife in Helsinki was one of the best in Europe.
I am a Finnish person, born and lived in Finland all my life, recently moved abroad. I just could not handle it anymore; eternal darkness, winter that lasts 9 months, cold summers that are more like a mixture of autumn and spring. Not even one day that you could go to the beach. You see the sun maximum 5 days per year.
People are depressed, low and melancholic. Extremely antisocial and xenophobic. People HATE children, it's like a nationwide child phobia! Really! They treat you very angrily and with despise if you are outside with a kid. They tell you to leave the kid at home and not bring him to public places to molest other people.
Lots of depression. Especially moms of little kids, who are socially isolated at home.
Lots of rules and stupid laws; everything is either prohibited or obligatory. No freedom of choice.
Immigrants get a lot of hate, local people do not want anything to do with you unless you are Finnish.
If you smile or laugh publicly, ...more
Out of all the places I visited in Europe, I was least impressed with Finland. The countryside was nice.V 24 Comments
Austria looks very pretty. But so so boring. It's a bit like a giant sized retirement home. But what can you expect from the birth place of Hitler. I suspect it's also boring cause their immigration laws are so tight that they chucked out most of their kids Lol! Personally as an Austrian born child having lived in exile for the last 50 years I can confirm to you that there is no such thing as human rights in that country only on paper. But considering the nazis nearly got in to power in the last general election I think I may have had a lucky escape.
As a teen living in Austria I can confirm that it is indeed very boring here. Everything's a routine, you can't really do much other than working and meeting up with a friend or something. The weather is the worst, it's either freezing cold or way too hot. There isn't much of a culture here, it's very dull.
The People of Austria are the most boring.
I have never saw some party in Austria except Vienna. If you visit small town you will not see anybody. Really ghost's towns.V 9 Comments
A culture that can be summed up by its sheer variety of exciting vegetable produce when you think of a romantic dinner - cabbage, carrot, turnip. It's 11 month rain season is moderately interesting, while the island's inhabitants cite great views of great monstrous grey concrete ghettos from the capital's rollercoaster 0.001KM ferris wheel activity. The nation taxes the hell out of alcohol so you can't even pretend to have a fun night out as you are left on the pavement waiting for a taxi as the pub has closed and the last bus has gone. Travel is very expensive, which means the country cannot afford to get to the local library, let alone to the airport without remortgaging the house.. this means for entertainment everything and everyone comes to you. Now with Brexit, all the interesting people are leaving as immigrants are hated and the nation will retire to an interesting hobbit like existence. - megadump
We have loads of stuff to keep people entertained. I've been to two towns here. all in England, so can't say much about the rest of the UK myself. Swindon (the town I live in (and always lived in for my entire life so far)) has the butterfly world and loads of parks, Devon has the lovely beaches, London has loads of other stuff. London must be the city with the most tourist attractions in the world. It's impossible to not know at least 5 extremely famous places in London. Us Brits have a strong, interesting history. I go to London about once or twice a year and it's always been amazing. There are a lot of people, but there are lots to do. I've been to the National History Museum, Science Museum and London Dungeons, which are all interesting places. The London Dungeon was quite a scary adventure, me and my sister were the only kids there when we went there with my dad, it really is that scary! You do learn a lot though. - LemonComputer
I've got to say that I disagree, it really depends on where you live, and what you do. In London, they have plenty of interesting places to go. I recently went to the Portsmouth historic dockyards and it was really interesting! Sure, sometimes weather can be gloomy, but there are still fun things to do. I was grew up here, and still live here. If you think it's boring, pay a visit, If you go to the right places, you'll enjoy it!
There's nothing as boring as British life and its people. Such a bland "culture". When I visit countries abroad and stay of course its not home and things are different but its lively. The country doesn't sleep at 9pm. Shops don't close 6pm. Sundays are just like any other day. And there's no annoying British "you know wha I mean" accents with people speaking of pubs, going out, what Tracey did last night, etc. Nightlife is all about getting wasted for people here. Maybe the UK should keep malls open until late so youth have this option rather than being peer pressured to go out and get wasted.V 22 Comments
If you think Bulgaria is boring, you have either not ever visited it or went to a very small village
Bulgaria is super boring. I do not recommend to come here for any reason what so ever. Bulgarians are very unfriendly, and hate foreigners. You will not be able to make friends with locals, and you will not be able to learn anything about the country. If you want a really nice holiday for the same price, go to Belarus.
Good resorts and some interesting and some beautiful towns and villages. Rich culture. But the people are very rude and pestilent and loud. - user0001
It's a boring place. The nature is beautiful but people are rude. I do not recommend coming here unless if you are coming to see the beautiful places or beaches (Which is probably the reason why you come here) but not many people are friendly. I'm 12 (Soon 13) and I find it really boring in here and I don't get along with many people. Some people are nice but most of them are not and I'm always so bored T_TV 4 Comments

Malta is not European. Only they are christians and they are so sympathized by european countries. If they are muslim would you accept them to the EU? Their language is mixed arabic and italian.
One of the Most boring country in the world. People are so frosty. If you are not a Dane, you are really lost and alone! Nothing social culture. The country is flat, and there are almost nothing to do. The weather is cold and rainy most of the time. I've lived there 10 years and went back to germany.
Terrifically boring.. No fun. Danes are frosty. People drink a lot.. No friendship culture. All introverts. No buzz. No festivals.
Denmark is known for the most boring things in the world. Living here is boring. Denmark should be number one on this page.
I feel it indeed here, especially because of the law of Jante.
I actually wanna move to Spain at some point
Very boring and way too expensive and not friendly people. Full of spies who come to you at a bar and interrupt you and your friends and begin talking to you without introducing themselves first. Then the other guys sitting next to you are listening to everything openly like a spy. A weird place and again, way too expensive! No beach, nature is all mud.
I was in Zurich a couple years ago. A big city, but extremely boring. Just a few department stores, a railway station, but quite nice airport. Except there was no toilet paper!
If your idea of fun is looking at banks then go for it, but I find the place completely utterly dull
It's a very beautiful country! Some really amazing views but... kinda boring to be honest :-/V 12 Comments

There's no point in its existence. Very uninteresting and boring country. Just go to Spain or France instead!
Andorra's surrounding regions in France and Spain make it an unbelievably redundant nation.
I lived here for 20 years, I am Dutch myself. Everything here is a routine. You wake up, go to work, go back home, day after day. After 6 there is almost nobody left on the streets, all shops and restaurants close early compared to other countries. The women are all a bit fat and the overall population can't hold an educated conversation. The weather is to cry for, very depressing. And to end my rant, the Dutch are very conceited and rude.
No impressive buildings. The nature is just ugly. Yay, no volcano's, but no mountains at all seems a little boring to me. Living here is so boring. There's nothing to do here. The fashion is really boring and women all look like guys, or if not, they're either prostitutes or barbie dolls. Lastly, there are NO shopping malls, at all! I could point out so much more, but I'm trying to stay positive. Wait, why is Belgium at #1? At least the people are nicer and their shopping malls and nature doesn't suck so much.
Quite regulated, now you are not welcome to park your bicycle anywhere you want, you must use designated locations and walk from there. Also take into account that already all people use bicycles here instead of cars and pay like 50 euro for parking when you shop in the centre. You must also All people are tall and huge, including women, quite cold and boring, no sense of humour at all, politeness is a ritual here.

This is a North American country not a European country but if it was it should be number 1
Greenland is not a country, it’s an autonomous region of Denmark.
One of the most boring place on the world map. Everything is expensive as it were any other west European country, but service. The service, on the contrary, is the worst. Don't be surprised if you'll face dirty floor in your room for 80 - 100$ per 24hours or a hair in your meal for 25$. You were warned! LOL People aren't friendly and look at any foreigner like it is an alien. LOL Don't keep your money around you. Russia is famous for its nature and that's a true statement, but there is a very weak transport system thus why getting amazing places becomes a tough challenge. Apart the nature (hiking, camping, etc.) there is nothing more to do.
Russia is the largest country in the world, if you get bored here you will get bored everywhere, I'm sure in your country you are bored, for that reason you vote for countries like Russia which are so better than yours.
Russia is like a rundown version of Canada and both are really boring
Too big and cold.V 4 Comments
A great place to go on holiday. The most boring place in the world to live. Very conservative people who don't look out of their reality. No sex as everything is just superficial, and people are suffocatingly self important. Unable to integrate into any other way of life. All show no action.
Except some known places where you can find some bars with tapas, the rest of the country is Spanish oriented, they are strictly conservative people, all the middle cities and towns are just boring. But if you are a German enjoyed to be a beer drunker, so you are in your area.
Most boring to live. Only cities and beach. Too hot summers. Boring boring. Rude people.
They are the most rude Europeans. Spanish people are friendly only towards other Spanish people. They can't also speak English. Very very boring athmosphere.V 3 Comments
I am actually American and of Cajun French ancestry. I've visited a lot of countries in Europe but this country comes second in terms of the most boring, to me.
French people are very low, they are very miserable and disagreeable. Obnoxious people, very cold and aloof, not very friendly. Often are prone to accuse you of things you haven't done, cause you're the American guy or the outsider. Weird people who believe they have life civilized, but are really a lost cause. Not boring at all, and I know well this country even if it's impossible to the whole country and all its territories spread everywhere on earth and giving to France a tropical rain forest, caribbean islands, most wonderful atolls (Polynesia) and so forth.
Kind people from lots of diverse origins, lots of human colors, we like and enjoy night life, attractions, exhibitions. And will be more than before to show we have no fear after those shabby attacks.

I live in Dublin and I think it's completely boring, unless you want just party and drink it's not. Nothing to do, weather is crap all year around, high rent most of people share houses with others to bring the cost of rent down, expensive to go out absolutely disgraceful get me out of this kip lol
Probably the least boring country in Europe (especially in the capital Dublin).
I'm Belgian but I live in Ireland now and I think that the Irish are the happiest and friendliest people in Europe but they do drink a lot of alcohol (it's probably what makes them so friendly)
Actually the least boring in Europe.
Kid who hasn't been to ireland 'all they do is party and drink! 111! 1! '
I live there, and I hate what Americans think about the irish...
It is a boring place, food with no soul, people not so open minded.
Great people, simple and generous. Everthing is very cheap for European standards. The food is great, alcohol is selled everywhere. You can take a glass of wine as cheap as 55cents. Lisbon is the oldest and most sunny city of Europe. Many cafes, shops, just beeing in the streets gives you life. Not boring at all.
Absolutely horrible country with disgustingly racist people. Stay well clear.
Unfriendly and racist locals mixed with wealthy unfriendly Russians who treat it as an economic colony. Throw in a couple elderly British expats and a few drunk obnoxious tourists who like awful music, and that’s Cyprus. Best thing about the place is leaving, or taking a 30 minute flight to Beirut.
What I’ve seen of England is just not appealing to me. It’s crowded, antique and very similar all over
