Most Boring Countries In Europe

The Top Ten
1 Vatican City Vatican City, officially Vatican City State or the State of Vatican City, is a walled enclave within the city of Rome. It is the smallest nation on Earth, and is the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church.

Its super small, its the headquarters of the Catholic Church. Its basically Italy, Boring and full of creepy popes and depressed nuns

No Girls. The inhabitants are only old men dressed like old women. So huge country that you can cross it in 10 minutes walking. And so ecological and environmental area that to find a tree you have to search during years. And for the nightlife, restaurants, bars etc... pass you way. There is some attractions once a week, but such...

I can't figure if the comments are ironic or just stupid, this is the vatican city, what did you expect? Parties drugs and alcohol?

2 Moldova Moldova, officially the Republic of Moldova, is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe. It is bordered by Romania to the west and Ukraine to the north, east, and south. The unrecognised breakaway region of Transnistria lies across the Dniester on the country's eastern border with Ukraine. Moldova's capital and largest city is Chișinău... read more

Eastern Europe is pretty sad. I think this is the poorest country in Europe. All they have is wine. Full of sad soviet block buildings...

All Latin American, Caribbean, and African countries are extremely poor and underdeveloped. Latin America and Caribbean are full of violent drug addicts, poverty, and many other criminals. Africa is extremely poor full of terrorists and various epidemics. Moldova is easily way better to live in than all Latin American, Caribbean, and African countries. Even Europe's poorest countries are way better, richer, and safer than even the richest country in Latin America, Caribbean, and Africa. Those three places are basically godforsaken places. Europe is so great even its poorest countries are already considered rich.

Moldova is boring? Get real. Moldova is much better to live in than even the richest countries in Africa and the Americas (except USA and Canada). Almost all of Africa is very poor and the Americas have drug problems. People only say Moldova is poor because it's the poorest country in Europe but compared to the rest of the world, Moldova is one of the richest and safest countries to live in.

3 Poland Poland, officially the Republic of Poland, is a country in Central Europe, bordered by Germany to the west; the Czech Republic and Slovakia to the south; Ukraine and Belarus to the east; and the Baltic Sea, Kaliningrad Oblast (a Russian exclave) and Lithuania to the north. With a population of approximately 38.5 million people, Poland is the sixth most populous member state of the European Union... read more

I'm stuck in this place, and to be honest, the only interesting part is the mountains down south and maybe a few sports on the coastline, THAT'S IT. The rest is just a plain which as the name suggests is quite plain. Warsaw is kinda in the middle of it, and to get to the sea from here is min. 4 hours and to the mountains it's even further. The worst thing is the people who will force you into loving this country, although I want to move to Norway as fast as I finish school here. A lot of people here tend to shove their xenophobic and primitive views down others' throats. It really does feel like I don't belong here, call me a traitor or whatever but, come on why's Norway getting so much hate, Poland absolutely deserves no. 1.

Has nothing to do in this country, Warsaw is kinda better but it's not something to considerate. Krakow is boring, Katowice is boring as hell.

Racist, antisocial, xenophobic, opportunistic, shameless, stupid, beurocratic nation!

They complain about the past but truth is that a huge portion of society are not much better than the German Nazis they are just too arrogant to admit it or work on it.

4 Kosovo Kosovo, officially the Republic of Kosovo, is a partially recognised state in Southeastern Europe. It lies at the centre of the Balkans, occupying an area of 10,887 km2 (4,203 sq mi), with a population of 1.8 million; and is bordered by the uncontested territory of Serbia to the north and east, North Macedonia to the southeast, Albania to the southwest, and Montenegro to the west. Kosovo unilaterally declared its independence from Serbia on 17 February 2008 and has since gained diplomatic recognition as a sovereign state by 98 member states of the United Nations. Most of central Kosovo is dominated by the vast plains and fields of Metohija and Kosovo. The Accursed Mountains and Šar Mountains ...read more.

Kosovo is a great place, if you have money, people are very friendly. They harrass women, who like being harrassed. People there get very offended if you say something about their religion or country to the point that they might beat you. Many things to do there and exciting.

5 Lithuania Lithuania, officially the Republic of Lithuania, is a country in Northern Europe. It is one of the Baltic states and lies on the eastern shore of the Baltic Sea to the southeast of Sweden and the east of Denmark, with Latvia to the north, Belarus to the east and south, Poland to the south, and Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia to the southwest. Lithuania covers an area of 65,300 km2 (25,200 sq mi), with a population of 2.8 million. Its capital and largest city is Vilnius; other major cities are Kaunas and Klaipėda. Lithuanians belong to the ethno-linguistic group of the Balts and speak Lithuanian, one of only a few living Baltic languages. ...read more.

Lithuania is NOT boring. Half-swedish half-lithuanian here who lives in Sweden, Lithuania is one of the most interesting countries of Europe. The entire country has an ancient feel to it, like you travel back in time, to an age that isn't busy like the US or UK, but not underdeveloped either. Add the fact that the language is the most ancient of Europe and scultpure parks depicting folklore, and you have a not so boring country, at all.

Honestly this entire list is pretty insensitive. A lot of these countries are only "boring" because the people commenting here are entitled uncultured Americans (Not to be stereotypical, but it's kind of true)

Fudge this country! I'm Lithuanian and I do really bored with this crap! I'm just living on this boring city and workers are too lazy to upgrade the houses, but no, they leave those, messy, ugly and trashy houses that I'm sooo bored! Even country is so annoying, mean and stupid! Back then, this country is very kind, and teachers and all teenagers trying stop teasing and crap, now it's like a awful remake of the Russia, heck, the Estonians are very hard working people, as Lithuania create this country! Lithuanians are just like, meh let's just leave those fugly and old old buildings that people may get bored of it, god. And also sometimes I see nothing, Pokemon? NO! Mario? I think so, and I search in Wikipedia and it didn't searched any good and success stuff and instead only about those old and lame stuff that I almost want to go on to the better country! I'm just living in this small and boring city that to do nothing else! And I forgot something that they don't even sell all other ...more

I don't have great experience living in here. No one wants to live in here. Depressing and so... very shady people. Not worth growing business. Every penny you earned in this country is sucked up by a black hole(You can never save up any money to live in this place). Not even gonna talk about how heartless teachers and people are in schools. Everyone even the people who came from this country gave up on it and left for the other countries. The president... we dislike her. The only thing you will see from these people is the animalistic greed for money and waiting every opportunity to get even a penny out of you. I would like this country to change for the better. But now it's nothing but a hollow land.

They got nothing interesting. There is nothing to see except a few medieval castles that are not that special you wouldn't find similiar ones in any other European country. The locals are also very arrogant and seriously believe that their people and country is somehow special and better than others. Someone should tell them its just a tiny eastern european nation that pretty much no one knows anything about.

6 Norway Norway, officially the Kingdom of Norway, is a sovereign and unitary monarchy in Northern Europe whose territory comprises the western portion of the Scandinavian Peninsula plus the island Jan Mayen and the archipelago of Svalbard. Oslo is the capital of Norway. Norwegian is the official language of Norway.

Norway is like one of the most peaceful and safest countries in the world. Only mentally challenged idiots will ever hate Norway. There is absolutely nothing to hate in Norway. Calling a safe country boring just because it's peaceful is like calling a war-torn country fun just because something is happening there. Norway is a perfect country to visit for tourists and it's easily one of the greatest countries in the world to live in. Norway is famous for skiing so of course it's far from boring. Especially the beautiful snow during winter. Crime is super rare so there is nothing to fear in Norway. Norway is especially clean like Japan. No country is perfect but Norway has way more pros than cons. People who call Norway boring are hypocrites because they are the ones who are boring.

Norway is easily one of the best countries in the world. Only jealous people with lack of good taste will ever call it boring and/or bad. Norway is one of the safest countries in the world, therefore crime is super rare. Norway is also one of the richest countries in the world so of course people are envious of Norway's success so they take their anger out by hating Norway. Norwegians are actually nice people and the women are also beautiful. There are plenty of places in Norway that are perfect for tourists such as the cities of Oslo, Bergen, etc. The peaceful countryside in Norway has many places just waiting for tourists to visit such as its mountains, fjords, etc. Even the big cities in Norway are actually very clean much cleaner than cities like New York. The foods in Norway are also delicious one of the best in the world. Especially the cold weather because cold weather is much better than hot weather. Norway is an absolutely great country no sane person will ever call it bad.

Its beautiful but boring. Oslo is boring and expensive. It has beautiful mountains, but Norway is stuck up, cold, with cold people, and albino looking tall people

I tried so hard to tell people what I think about Norway and it is all in this article! So true, the nature is beautiful, but you can't enjoy it so much because of the climate, so melancholy! We lived before in England where you can do so much fun things : many parks, attractions, theme parks, playgrounds and many other things. And there you only can go for long walks and ski on the winters, if you ask what you do on free time that's it is, not much to do. As well I should say there is not much to choose on supermarket. Poor variety, all the same food. Every week I wonder what to buy, because it's all sucks, all the same stuff. In England I see so many different people, life styles, it's ok to live your own way, but here people all the same, eats plain food, go on weekends for a walk and do training and all thinking that Norway is the best country, there is just one life style if you different it means you are worst... It's strange for them if you not training or eating sandwiches... ...more

7 Germany Germany was formally united in 1871 under the initiative of Bismarck with King Wilhelm of Prussia as emperor. The previous 'Holy Roman Empire', basically a continuation of the empire of Charlemagne/Karl der Grosse was dissolved in 1806.

Some territory was lost after World War 1 and a lot more after World War 2, basically started by Hitler's Nazi dictatorship. Then the Soviets kept their zone - the 'DDR', East Germany, separate with a wall through the middle of Berlin, until 1990 when the country was reunited. ...read more.

Sad history, A lot of German cities are really crappy. Germans are rude and ugly. Especially Angela Merkel, who is a man in a wig

Very different from America, where the people are a lot healthier but also a lot stricter. Only the major cities are interesting and every other place is mostly inhabited by mean old women. Every kid seems to play soccer (or football), which isn't a bad thing but I'm just pointing it out. I went to high school in Berlin for three years and it was absolutely dreadful even though it was an international school. All the kids cared about their grades, and again, that isn't a bad thing but their parents would get all psycho if they didn't get an A (or 1) and it would eventually hurt your self esteem a bit. The people are very distant and care about their presentation and background a lot. Every German family seems to be the same: two kids, the wife that most likely takes care of the kids and the dad that either works at an office or travels a lot. Germany is beautiful but it can get rather boring pretty quickly.

Germany has a great variety of things and bears a little bit of everything for everyone. It has clubs, an underground scene, a rich exciting culture and history(NOT just WWII! ). You are either a bunch of hateful young people who haven't travelled enough or people who are jealous that your own country can't reach this standard of life.

Germany more boring than Bulgaria or even Vatican, do you have something we call a brain? Problem, guys voting here have max 18 years old, they don't know nothing about life, just kids playing.

8 Sweden Sweden, officially the Kingdom of Sweden, is a Scandinavian country in Northern Europe.

It borders Norway to the west and Finland to the east, and is connected to Denmark in the southwest by a bridge-tunnel across the Öresund. At 450,295 square kilometers (173,860 sq mi), Sweden is the third-largest... read more

Norway isn't more boring than Sweden. Only sinpleminded freaks think Norway is more boring than Sweden. Norway is completely better than Sweden in literally everything such as cleanliness, quality of life, infrastructure, economy, safety, tourist destinations, etc. There is nothing to do in Sweden, the citizens are completely antisocial and they hate tourists. They will go as far as to ignore them. Sweden is not only the most boring Nordic country but it's also the most dangerous Nordic country because of all those immigrants. Sweden is easily the worst Nordic country. Even Finland is much better than Sweden. Sweden is simply a boring overrated country that is the most famous Nordic country for no reason.

9 Serbia Serbia, officially the Republic of Serbia, is a landlocked country in Southeastern and Central Europe, situated at the crossroads of the Pannonian Plain and the Balkans. It shares land borders with Hungary to the north, Romania to the northeast, Bulgaria to the southeast, North Macedonia to the south, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to the west, and Montenegro to the southwest, and claiming a border with Albania through the disputed territory of Kosovo. Serbia with Kosovo has about 8.6 million inhabitants. Its capital Belgrade is also the largest city.

The country where people can have FUN, the BEST time ever. People are warm, welcoming, food is excellent. Serbia doesn't have so many metros or fancy buildings, but it has impressive history, hart and soul like no other country in Europe. Did you know that Serbians are the most gorgeous women in the world? National kitchen is great and people feel safe. Beautiful nature.

Visited twice. Nothing to see there. Belgrade is the one place where I got decent food (no diversity there), but it is a strange mix of unkempt Istanbul and perhaps an Austrian or Central European city in need of fresh coat of paint. Overpriced hotels and nasty police.

This is unfair! Serbia is a welcoming, kind place that's relaxed at the same time! All you're doing is trying to make yourself look like everyone else! Or at least try to like it and get outside!

Boring and dangerous, especially for visitors from Croatia which was invaded by barbarians from Serbia.

10 Belarus Belarus, officially the Republic of Belarus, formerly known by its Russian name Byelorussia or Belorussia, is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe bordered by Russia to the northeast, Ukraine to the south, Poland to the west, and Lithuania and Latvia to the northwest. Its capital and most populous city is Minsk.

Its basically controlled by Russia, Russia occupied this place. They have a separate culture and language (kinda) but Russia uses this place for evil experiments..damn you Russia

No sea, no mountains, just plains and uninteresting cities. Bad goverment (authoritarian), not much to do. Norway is one of the most intersting countries in the world! I don't get why it's number 1. People who voted for countries like Norway, Italy and Bulgaria don't know how much those countries offer. Belarus should be number 1!

Most people know almost nothing about Belarus. No mountains and no sea, but there are hills, lakes and forests. The most beautiful city is Grodno, not Minsk. The castles in Mir and Nesvizh included in UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's not so bad.

The Contenders
11 Luxembourg Luxembourg, officially the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, is a landlocked country in western Europe. It is bordered by Belgium to the west and north, Germany to the east, and France to the south. Its capital, Luxembourg City, is one of the four official capitals of the European Union (together with Brussels, Frankfurt, and Strasbourg) and the seat of the Court of Justice of the European Union, the highest judicial authority in the EU. Its culture, people, and languages are highly intertwined with its neighbors, making it a mixture of French and German cultures. It has three official languages: French, German, and the national language of Luxembourgish.

At least Luxembourg is very rich. The people who hate Luxembourg are poor people who are jealous of Luxembourg's wealth and success. Poor people are the most insignificant people in the world. They have nothing. No money, no power, no success, no anything. So they simply take their pain out by insulting rich people.

Pretty dollhouse castles, and the Royal Family look like the mannequins that might occupy them.

12 Hungary Hungary is a sovereign state in Europe. It is situated in the Carpathian Basin and is bordered by Slovakia to the north, Romania to the east, Serbia to the south, Croatia to the southwest, Slovenia to the west, Austria to the northwest, and Ukraine to the northeast.

This shouldn't be on here. The country has kind, hardworking people in it. Yes, the government may be one of the worst in Europe, but it has a nice rural area. Farms everywhere which I find interesting and exciting. Lots of villages and a nice huge lake. It is always sunny and there are lots of public pools and aqua parks around. The "Kékes" is a 1014m mountain, it is the tallest point in Hungary. You can do skiing there. The "Tisza" is the second largest river in Hungary and it is a lot more public than the "Duna". You can go fishing and swimming in it. Hungary also has some of the most simple but tasty foods in Europe. But as I said it is very sunny, so take your sun suncream

As a Hungarian I am very surprised to see Hungary on a lower place than the Czech Republic because Hungarians love to tell off their country everywhere.

Horrible country, the most boring I have ever been to. It is very ugly too. Save your money and never go.

Don't visit this country it is not worth it!

13 Belgium Belgium, officially the Kingdom of Belgium, is a country in Northwestern Europe. The country is bordered by the Netherlands to the north, Germany to the east, Luxembourg to the southeast, France to the southwest, and the North Sea to the northwest. It covers an area of 30,689 km2 (11,849 sq mi) and ...read more.

It rains like in the Tropics, except for July and August. Brussels is a Sad ugly and Rather unsafe place.. From bad Drivers to beggars and Groups of immigrant youth who cause trouble. Kortrijk, Brugge, and The Beach are all To do. Antwerpen is The Best place to Shop with Ease by Far. Far Fewer FritCot's

More Do it Yourself Find Fun ;). Flanders North Belgium has the Nicest People in Europe in My Experience.. but still sitting next to the Schelde with Bag of Beers and some Sun and Friends is as Exciting as it gets.

I live about 15 year here and I agree with the last comment.
People are not so social, ugly buildings, ugly weather, boring capital exept the grand place atomium and manaken pis have nothing to do here. The night life is not so better, they are selective, the most of people are rude and it is dangerous in the night! And if you are different you are not normal so it is dificult to had trust and make friends here.. Even had good festivals sometimes the people are boring and in the finish you always had problems and in the finish police came.. At work is the same boring and depressif and you should support the majority of assh ols who make this capital more booring ever! Belgium most be in the first place!

Literally saw about five people during my whole visit, everywhere is dead, all the people you do meet are unfriendly, unwelcoming and unhelpful, especially to tourists.

Italians vote Belgium as most boring countries, we live here, because we are obliged to live here, but it's so boring and the food are so disgusting.

14 Italy Italy (Italian: Repubblica Italiana) is a sovereign state and unitary parliamentary republic in south-central Europe.

Italy covers an area of 301,338 km². With almost 62 million inhabitants, it is the third most populous EU member state. Located in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea, Italy shares open land borders with France, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, San Marino, and Vatican City. The... read more

I am actually American, I've visited a lot of countries in Europe but Italy comes first in terms of the most boring, to me. Italian people are very low, they are very miserable and disagreeable. Weird people who believe they have life civilized, but are really a lost cause. Not very friendly, obnoxious people, very cold and aloof. Often are prone to accuse you of things you haven't done, cause you're the American guy or the outsider. Nothing will ever top the most boring country in the world to me: Italy. I have no idea why Norway made it to number 2. Norway is like America, lots of nature and hiking and places to do. Norway and Switzerland are the best countries in Europe! For any Sportsman. Poland also is an honorable mention, Remember, these nations. But Not Italy, over taxed and over controlled, cause it sucks too much, indeed.

I lived in Italy for 2 years in Ravenna. I found the Italian people so warm, generous. They made good friends.
All if Italy is a museum. The culture rich and wonderful.
The food unbelievable. The best ice- cream in the world.
The only problem is you can put on weight so easily because it's all so delicious.
Italy is an old culture. It's contributed & had such an influence on language, law, art etc.
The Italians have an incredible sense of style in clothing, furnishing, building. Few can top them in these fields.
What are you looking for if you are complaining all the time? If you are miserable & unhappy in Italy go back to where you came from.
I loved my time in Italy and it's my favorite country in Europe.
Keep an open mind, it's their country.
Their culture not yours.
I would live in Italy anytime. It's a lovely country with much to see, do and enjoy.

15 Liechtenstein Liechtenstein is a very tiny country in Europe. It is between Switzerland and Austria. It is known for its mountains. The official language in Liechtenstein is German. On January 23, 1719, Liechtenstein was discovered, and it established independence from the Holy Roman Empire on July 12, 1806. Its biggest ally is Switzerland. It is the 4th smallest country in Europe and has a Royal Family.

Staying one day in Vaduz makes you appreciate the excitement just over the Swiss border.

Think about that and the fact that this "country" is most famous for...stamp collecting.

Having lived here for three years I approve. Started appreciating the deadness and rock hard stableness here like being in an isolated heaven.

Just like Switzerland if you like looking at banks and shop doorways and then go for it, I find the place personally very clinical robotic and boring

Best country. Great, unlike the western neighbour.

16 Andorra Andorra, officially the Principality of Andorra, also called the Principality of the Valleys of Andorra, is a sovereign landlocked microstate in Southwestern Europe, located in the eastern Pyrenees mountains and bordered by Spain and France. Believed to have been created by Charlemagne, Andorra was ruled by the count of Urgell until 988, when it was transferred to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Urgell. The present principality was formed by a charter in 1278. It is headed by two co-princes: the Bishop of Urgell in Catalonia, Spain and the President of France. Its capital and largest city is Andorra la Vella. ...read more.

There's no point in its existence. Very uninteresting and boring country. Just go to Spain or France instead!

Andorra's surrounding regions in France and Spain make it an unbelievably redundant nation.

17 Albania Albania is a southeastern European country that is slightly larger than Maryland and near Montenegro, Kosovo, Republic of Macedonia, and Greece. The capital is a city called Tirana. Some other major cities in Albania are Durrës, Elbasan, Vlorë, and Shkodër. Albania gained its independence in 1912. ...read more.

Albania is just so extremely horrible and boring country that it' hard to believe. Corruption is everywhere, they put their children to work instead of going to school, women are held as slaves at home and exists only for serving the men, poor people die because they can't afford going to hospital. And the only thing they like to talk is money. They don't have railways and infrastructure is very poor in general. I lived there a while, but thankfully got out.

I absolutely love albania have no idea what you guys are on about, the places I went everyone was nice, the beaches were lovely and at night there were food places open, and there was music and everything, where you went was probably terrible, check the best places, not the worst! My best friend is albanian and they absolutely love it when other nations come to view their country!

Poor roads, dirty beaches, everything so boring and dirty. I have visited 30 european countries and Albania is absolutely the most dirty and boring. People are very unhygienic, both women and men.

If you live in Tirana, you shouldn't be bored considering there's a lot of malls and sport places. Lukova and durres are both with beaches. In Shokder you have lots of restaurants and very up north are mountains. In the south you are near greece you have good restaurants and olive gardens and more beaches

18 Czech Republic The Czech Republic, also called Czechia is a landlocked country in Central Europe. Historically known as Bohemia, it is bordered by Austria to the south, Germany to the west, Poland to the northeast, and Slovakia to the southeast. The Czech Republic has a hilly landscape that covers an area of 78,871 square kilometers (30,452 sq mi) with a mostly temperate continental and oceanic climate. The capital and largest city is Prague; other major cities and urban areas include Brno, Ostrava, Plzeň and Liberec.

Meh, you think the Czech Republic is boring? Then you don't know Czech politicians - the greatest comedians to walk the Earth!

It's not boring, the hot springs are amazing and the cheese sandwiches taste great.

Beautiful girls live there. Not boring!

No, not really. Not at ALL actually. There are sooo many things to do

19 Ukraine Ukraine is a country in Eastern Europe. It is the second-largest European country, covering approximately 600,000 square kilometres (230,000 sq mi), and has a population of around 40 million people. It is bordered by Russia to the east and northeast; by Belarus to the north; by Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary to the west; and by Romania and Moldova to the southwest; with a coastline along the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov to the south and southeast, respectively. Kyiv is Ukraine's capital as well as its largest city. The country's language is Ukrainian, and many people are also fluent in Russian.

Ukraine is just a pathetic dump full of wannabe Russians. I've lived here for 2 years for a job, and it's the worst decision I've ever made. If you ever want to go to Ukraine, here's my advice: don't.

Boring country, most people are addicted to alcohol.

Ukraine is nor boring at all. I spend every summer there with no regrets

Na man. Ukraine is rad

20 Austria Austria was Celtic (Hallstadt) then as Noricum, part of the Roman Empire, Alaric, who took over Rome, studied at a monastery near Vienna. In the Middle Ages, the Holy Roman Emperors moved to Vienna, then Austria became separate. Medieval documents from Eastern Europe as far as West Ukraine were often ...read more.

Austria looks very pretty. But so so boring. It's a bit like a giant sized retirement home. But what can you expect from the birth place of Hitler. I suspect it's also boring cause their immigration laws are so tight that they chucked out most of their kids Lol! Personally as an Austrian born child having lived in exile for the last 50 years I can confirm to you that there is no such thing as human rights in that country only on paper. But considering the nazis nearly got in to power in the last general election I think I may have had a lucky escape.

Top most boring people in the world. The country is beautiful, just such a shame about the people. Every man for himself, no sense of community.. They pride themselves on their 'black' humour but really it's non-existent. They have a massive chip on their shoulder about the Germans, so much so they palm off Hitler and nazism on Germany even though everyone here is still a nazi.. Yawn, dieing of boredom.

As a teen living in Austria I can confirm that it is indeed very boring here. Everything's a routine, you can't really do much other than working and meeting up with a friend or something. The weather is the worst, it's either freezing cold or way too hot. There isn't much of a culture here, it's very dull.

I can only comment on a certain ski resort town & Salzburg but I find this country very sterile! it loves itself too much, how dare you ask where the nearest Indian cuisine is? it likely doesn't exist, AustriaN AustriaN AustriaN! people need to lighten up, smile & embrace other cultures, although to be honest there were some very friendly people here & there breaking through the sterility.

21 Monaco Monaco, officially the Principality of Monaco, is a sovereign city-state and microstate, located on the French Riviera in Western Europe.

Too small to have anything to do!

22 Bulgaria Bulgaria, officially the Republic of Bulgaria, was established in 681 ad. and since then it never changed it's name, which makes it one of the oldest countries in Europe. Located in the Balkan Peninsula between Greece, Turkey, Romania, Serbia, Macedonia and Black Sea. The Capital of Bulgaria is Sofia, ...read more.

It's a boring place. The nature is beautiful but people are rude. I do not recommend coming here unless if you are coming to see the beautiful places or beaches (Which is probably the reason why you come here) but not many people are friendly. I'm 12 (Soon 13) and I find it really boring in here and I don't get along with many people. Some people are nice but most of them are not and I'm always so bored T_T

Bulgaria is super boring. I do not recommend to come here for any reason what so ever. Bulgarians are very unfriendly, and hate foreigners. You will not be able to make friends with locals, and you will not be able to learn anything about the country. If you want a really nice holiday for the same price, go to Belarus.

Good resorts and some interesting and some beautiful towns and villages. Rich culture. But the people are very rude and pestilent and loud.

People are too busy short changing you at every single transaction in cash!

23 Finland Finland, officially the Republic of Finland, is a Nordic country in Northern Europe. It shares land borders with Sweden to the northwest, Norway to the north, and Russia to the east, with the Gulf of Bothnia to the west and the Gulf of Finland across Estonia to the south. I am a Finnish person, born and lived in Finland all my life, recently moved abroad. I just could not handle it anymore; eternal darkness, winter that lasts 9 months, cold summers that are more like a mixture of autumn and spring. Not even one day that you could go to the beach. You see the sun maximum 5 days per year.
People are depressed, low and melancholic. Extremely antisocial and xenophobic. People HATE children, it's like a nationwide child phobia! Really! They treat you very angrily and with despise if you are outside with a kid. They tell you to leave the kid at home and not bring him to public places to molest other people.

Lots of depression. Especially moms of little kids, who are socially isolated at home.

Lots of rules and stupid laws; everything is either prohibited or obligatory. No freedom of choice.

Immigrants get a lot of hate, local people do not want anything to do with you unless you are Finnish.

If you smile or laugh publicly, people think you need psychiatric help.

24 Latvia Latvia, officially the Republic of Latvia, is a country in the Baltic region of Northern Europe. It is one of the Baltic states; and is bordered by Estonia to the north, Lithuania to the south, Russia to the east, Belarus to the southeast, and shares a maritime border with Sweden to the west. Latvia covers an area of 64,589 km2 (24,938 sq mi), with a population of 1.9 million. The country has a temperate seasonal climate. Its capital and largest city is Riga. Latvians belong to the ethno-linguistic group of the Balts; and speak Latvian, one of the only two surviving Baltic languages. Russians are the most prominent minority in the country, at almost a quarter of the population.

The only reason it's so low down on this list is precisely because it's boring - it's so boring it's one of the lesser known countries in Europe.

You haven't driven on a bad road until you get to Latvia. You're bumping every other second because no one has flattened the concrete.

Latvia is unique and amazing!
