Top Ten British Video Game Characters
Ah, British people, with their either posh or aggressive of speaking, their video game portrayals aren't that much different. Unlike the other lists, we have a ton more options here so I can hopefully go more in depth into every character since I might actually know a bit of their background and therefore I can make this list better. The item order will be decided on by how iconic the character is, their likeability factor and how big a role they actually play in the story.So, let us begin my Top Ten British Video Game Characters!

Lara Croft is a fictional character and the protagonist of the Square Enix video game franchise Tomb Raider. Lara Croft, or the Tomb Raider, or that Indiana Jones girl with a big butt. Lara Croft is by far the most iconic character on this list and has earned her spot as one of the best video game characters of all time. The Tomb Raider series is still going strong even after 20 years, with each new entry giving Lara more depth to her character and backstory behind her. The movie also expanded on this and that makes Lara here a glorious character.
Professor Hershel Layton is a fictional character and the main protagonist of the Professor Layton fictional universe, created by Level-5. Professor Layton is a true, tea drinking English man. His personality is very polite and intelligent, and his commentary throughout the game is entertaining as well especially during cutscenes. I like smart characters, so naturally I'll love Layton.
Captain John Price is a main fictional character in the Call of Duty series, being one of three characters to be featured in all of the games in the Modern Warfare series, the others being Captain John "Soap" MacTavish and Nikolai.
Dudley is a well mannered brit in Street Fighter, as you can tell his clean mustache and hairdo as well as fancy clothes reflect this. Although he isn't too polite to uppercut your jaw off. I like Dudley quite a bit.
Bayonetta, real name Cereza, is a fictional character and protagonist of the video game Bayonetta and its sequel, developed by PlatinumGames and published by Sega and Nintendo respectively. Bayonetta is...a very seductive and cheeky character. Her personality is extraordinarily entertaining and when playing as her she feels great. She may be sexualised, but that doesn't stop her from being a great character in general.

Tracer is a playable character appearing in the 2016 video game Overwatch, a first-person shooter video game developed by Blizzard Entertainment.
Shulk is a fictional character and the protagonist from Monolith Soft's 2010 role-playing video game Xenoblade Chronicles, part of their overarching Xeno series of video games.
Mettaton is a character in the popular 2015 RPG game, Undertale. He is a robot with a soul built by Dr. Alphys, and is the sole television star of the underground. Mettaton is a popular character in the fanbase. His notable features include his legs, and his catchphrase "OH YESSSS!"
