Best Bubblegum Dance Music Artists and Bands

Bubblegum dance is a subgenre of eurodance. Eurodance was one of the most popular music genres of the 90s in Europe and German, and emerged from the techno genre, combining it wih pop and hip hop elements. Bubblegum dance shares structures and much of its sound with regular eurodance, but is sillier and happier in tone. The lyrics are often childish/immature and resemble that of novelty songs popular in 40s, 50s and 60s. Vocals are often cartoonish and over-the-top, and sometimes comic sound effect are mixed into the music.
Popular in the 90s, bubblegum dance had a short lived revival in the mid-2000s in German speaking countries.

The most famous bubblegum dance song is probably "Barbie Girl" by Aqua.
