At first he was a dumb but sort of lovable character, but now he's just a jerk and it seems like he knowingly pretends to be dumb to annoy others.
At first he was dumb bit he was a lovable guy but now hrs a douche.
He's gotten better in some of the newest episodes lately.

Cosmo is Timmy fairy godfather. He's Wanda's husband and Poof's dad.
Cosmo is very immature and stupid, but also very charming and a loving father, godfather and husband. It'd be better if they didn't have to make Daran Norris crank up Cosmo's voice and stupidity to nigh-intolerable levels of annoyance. Seriously, there's none of that lovable charm Cosmo once had come later seasons.
He got way to annoying later on in the show

Chloe's arguably still worse than him no matter what season, but that doesn't mean he's completely safe from Flanderization. He used to be a very sympathetic character in the early seasons. While he was impulsive at times, he was usually a kid with a good heart who truly loved his fairies. However, I can't be the only one who notices he's gotten more selfish and reckless over the later seasons. In other words, he went from being sympathetic and kindhearted protagonist to an absolute douchebag.
