SpongeBob SquarePants is a fictional character and the titular character and protagonist of the American animated television series of the same name. I feel bad for whose childhood was during the Post-Movie era of SpongeBob SquarePants. Thankfully, Seasons 9-present are a little better now.
I'm now 12 and I used to always watch this show when I was like 6 or 7. I still watch it sometimes, I've recently watched the 2015 movie.

Dora is the main protagonist in the show "Dora the Explorer". Her main occupation is exploring with her monkey friend, Boots. I will never consider Dora the Explorer as part of my childhood. Only as an annoying nightmare that can't get out of my head.
Poor Dora. People keep hating on her just because she's a character from a kids' show.
