Cartoon Episodes Where Characters Would Get Arrested in Real Life

The Top Ten
1 One Coarse Meal (SpongeBob SquarePants)

Mr. Krabs would have a life sentence in prison for driving someone to suicide. Even though Plankton is one of my all-time most disliked characters, Mr. Krabs doing this to him was just plain sick.

2 Something’s Wrong With This Taffy (The Mighty B!)

In this episode, Bessie is seen breaking into her scout mates' houses and the taffy factory. She also stole everyone's boxes of Taffy. If she did this in real life, she would be doing some serious jail time. But since she is a kid, she would spend multiple years in Juvie.

3 No Such Luck (The Loud House)

In real life, the entire Loud family would be sentenced to 25 to 30 years for child neglect, endangerment, and abandonment. Come to think of it, why didn't Lincoln think about calling the cops on his family?

I don't get how cartoon writers could come up with ideas this cruel for a kids' show.

4 The True Meaning of Christmas (Teen Titans Go!)

In this episode, the Teen Titans do nothing but break into Santa's workshop, destroying and killing most of his elves in order to get presents. If all of this happened in real life, all of them would be sentenced to life in jail. The 2003 Titans actually use their powers for good, unlike the Titans we see today.

5 On a Clear Day, I Can't See My Sister (The Simpsons)

Abusing power with a restraining order is one of the worst things Lisa ever did. Plus, she would have her restraining order removed. Also, Homer and Marge would be sentenced to 25 to 30 years for abandoning, neglecting, and endangering Bart because of the restraining order.

6 The Boys of Bummer (The Simpsons)

The entire town of Springfield would be sentenced to life in prison for child abuse and driving Bart to suicide if their actions existed in real life. Thank God Marge called them out for it.

The fact that they encouraged him to commit suicide just for making one mistake in a baseball game is the worst.

7 Seahorse Seashell Party (Family Guy)

Peter and Lois would go to jail for 10 or more years for abusing Meg, a 17-year-old minor, who turned 18 a few episodes later. As for Brian, he would be sentenced to 25 years for drug possession.

8 Let Them Eat Goo (South Park)

In this episode, Randy and Towelie killed hundreds of cows. If their actions happened in real life, they would be sentenced to life in prison for manslaughter and animal cruelty.

9 The Best Burger in the World (Regular Show)

Throughout this episode, Benson was committing workers' rights violations. If he did this in real life, he would not only lose his job as park manager, but he would also be sentenced to multiple years in jail.

10 Homer vs Lisa and the 8th Commandment (The Simpsons)
The Contenders
11 Shuffleboarding (SpongeBob SquarePants)
12 Heroes (Beavis and Butt-Head)
13 Ren Seeks Help (Ren & Stimpy "Adult Party Cartoon")

Many people have called this the worst cartoon episode of all time, and for very good reason.

14 Dexter vs. Santa's Claws (Dexter's Laboratory)
15 Kings of the Con (The Loud House)

If this incident were a real-life thing, Lincoln and Clyde would be sentenced to 9 years in jail: 4 for kidnapping and 5 for animal cruelty.

16 The Secret Origin of Denzel Crocker (The Fairly OddParents)

This only applies to the beginning of the episode where Crocker is portrayed as a complete monster.

17 Tight End Ed (Ed, Edd N Eddy)
18 Operation B.U.T.T. (Codename: Kids Next Door)
19 Grudge Match (Ben 10)
20 The Mutants are Revolting (Futurama)
21 Murder on the Planet Express (Futurama)
22 Blue Cat Blues (Tom and Jerry)
23 Stan Knows Best (American Dad)
24 Bender Gets Made (Futurama)
25 Framed (Ben 10)
